Use same charge weight as for Bullseye in most standard pressure, not+P handgun rounds. 2 grains with 77-87-grain cast in .32 ACP is full charge load.

Not a problem as long as the bullet is not excessively hard and the load is of normal pressure. You have to remember that chambers in the .41 Long Colt are bored straight through and have no ball seat like later revolvers and the bullets must fit...

Absolutely. With smokeless powder the heel doesn't upset as well as it does with black, so the driving band above the heel must fit the cylinder throats and be somewhat larger than groove diameter. Harry O knows his stuff.

I got a Buck 112 Finger groove when I was in 8th grade. My favorite! I carried it daily thru and in high school. Never so much as questioned. I lost it in a stream fishing about just after HIgh school. I looked and looked for a replacement....

Whats old is new again... I guess Im a new comer to this powder. I never realized it was around a while. Last year when I was working up loads for a couple 25/45 Sharps. It seemed any one who had been down this road was recommending AA2200....

Brake cleaner by itself will take 2-3 times to clean out oil from the cavities. Does help if you cast 2-3 pours between spray/scrub. I clean with Dutch Cleanser first, boil in Dawn, Rinse in Boiling Water. Quick dry with Propane torch. Then...

Hate canned biscuits, nasty after taste. The frozen ones aren't too bad. But they have to sit out overnight to rise. Takes some planning.

You might consider instead the 10x25mm Rimmed, made by necking down Starline .44 Russian brass. About 8% more capacity than the 10mm Auto, but no danger it getting into an old .38-40 by mistake. John Taylor has the reamer and can also make dies....

The J-frames are difficult to shoot well and with the large 0.008"+ cylinder gaps they are commonly shipping them with now and only a 1-7/8" barrel you lose 30-40 fps over a K-frame having a true 2-inch barrel and a snug cylinder gap of...

We use Jimmy Dean Sausage too. Except We use half a roll of Hot and half a roll of Original. Plenty of fresh ground black pepper. We pay homage to healthy by using 1% milk instead of Cream. We make scratch biscuits with White Lily flour. Usually 2...

I have one in process now. Took some time to decide between 6.5x55 & 257 Bob. The Bob won. Its a 7.65 now. It has action work done. New spoon bolt handle, shroud & Timney trigger. Its a 1909 Argentine 98. It will be my fifth. Love these 98’s. I...

The caveat is that the bullet profile must permit seating bullets to 0.94" minimum overall cartridge length and also have them still chamber in the pistol. At shorter OAL the shank of the bullet intrudes too deeply into the powder space and will...

You might try the Accurate 43-206H. When ordering you have specify the desired diameter and alloy you want to use. I use this semi-wadcutter with 6 grains of Bullseye in the .44-40. I am confident that it would also be a winner in the .44 Special. ...

Depends on the brass, the way you size it and how heavy a load you load in it. You can use a taper crimp and not have to worry about crimping in the Bullets crimping groove. Max loads will make a case grow. I learned this when loading for...
