I agree with Larry on the use of STD dies. The Small Base dies came out for Rifles such as the Winchester Models 100 & 88, the Remington Models 742 & 760, Savage Model 170 and Browning Models BAR & BLR and others I can't remember. I've used...

I haven't looked hard lately, and can't quite remember. But I know there are 7 .44's (3 .44Mags, 4 .44WCF's) because I just went through the safes looking for One in Particular. Didn't pay attention to what I wasn't looking, which was a .44Mag....

I dislike crimping, especially SS loads, unless I find it improves accuracy. I've not personally used 5744 in the 45 2.1, but have read of many who have had very satisfactory results with it.

"Can you do the same thing with smokeless powder." Depends on the powder. Always set coal length for best function and accuracy. Powders that are position sensitive or density sensitive and need filler are two things that I personally do not...

We're did the cases come from ? If they were shot in a factory Glock bbl. Then your loads are suffering from the infamous Glock Smile. Or else your loads exceed the Overall Cartridge Length that the magazine will accept. Which is what it really...

I've never had the accuracy I wanted with Bullets heavier then 270grs. Tried the Lee 44-310 with 4227, 2400 and 296. Didn't get better then the Saeco#432 265gr FPGC, in fact it was a full third less accurate in my Scoped SRH 7 1/2". Same for both...

My 1980's 1894 shoots well with a #429421 sized .430dia, same as I load for My .44Mags, Ruger's, S&W and for a short time a Colt. I have to feed them carefully with a slow easy LEVER and a bit of shake. The #429215 & 429244 feed just fine. My...

I'm sorry, Fro. I had to eat too much Dinty Moore Beef Stew growing up. Often it was all my little Brother and I had to eat. Makes me gag now. I tried some a few years ago. As soon as the can opener released that unique smell, I started to gag.
