    I have never understood why some folks are willing to do the same job twice. Decap only, then clean and size and clean again. Why not tumble to clean, then decap & size. Then clean again if you need to make it shiny. I have no problem cleaning...

    I Just read this thread through for the 3rd time. I know that folks cast their own bullets to save money and/or shoot more. I grew up at a time when the only way to get bullets for loading was to cast your own. So forgive me if I don't understand...

    That's a great deal. I have a 99A from before they lengthened the action & changed the safety. The .300 is a great cartridge. Buy it.

    MARLIN, easy to scope when the eyes go. Or find an old Browning 1894 from the 1970-80's. Mine is still going strong. Rossi's are a **** shoot, you'll never know what you're getting until you put a few 100rds down range. Henry, just don't like 'em.

    Talk to the folks at SagesOutdoors.com. They make the GATOR gascheck and also special checks for undersized shanks. They helped me out and I'm HAPPY as a pig in ****. They have great Customer Service and are cheaper than LYMAN/HORNADY.
