Many long years I was walking up a wide dirt road looking for a cutoff to a trail that lead to a good squirrel spot. It was just as the eastern sun was turning the sky pink. A Great Horned Owl coasted across the road in complete silence. I stood...

Walks replied to a thread Henry 44 magnum in Leverguns
I've had a UBERTI Henry for almost 30yrs. I've 3 brass tube loaders that hold 6 rounds a piece for almost that long. I've feed it only RNFP, 1st a MAGMA 210gr , then an RCBS 200GR CM. So I have never bothered to try any SWC. But dropping a tube...

We got Ralph's (Kroger) here & Von's (Safeway) Ralph's & Von's stopped carrying gun mags years ago. I don't pay attention anyway because both SHOOTING TIMES & GUNS AND AMMO have degenerated into dying shadows of what they once were. PETERSON'S...

You would do well to use welding gloves. A small pot over a turkey fryer is gonna be REAL HOT. You might also be better served by getting a GOOD dipper. The right dipper GOES A LONG WAY in casting decent bullets. If you're going to dipper cast don't...

When you use light powder charges in a small case. That small charge is completely consumed in a RIFLE bbl. So sometimes you get slower velocities out of a long barreled pistol caliber rifle. I actually get lower velocity out of a 24" bbl rifle...

I believe LYMAN style sells the complete primer arm assembly. At least I've seen them on flea-bay in new packaging. Primer Catcher's are scarce as hen's teeth. And about as expensive. The handles are screw in. I don't know of any other handle...

It's going to be a while before the Aqualube 3000 is available here, from what I gather it's still being tested. I have a standing order for some when it becomes available, in the mean time I have a fair amount of the Aqualube 5000 on hand.
