Twenty to Twenty-Five years ago I had 3 pair of Cowboy Boots Custom Made by a Master Bootmaker. They were the only Boots I never had to break in.

Just about every Cowboy Shooter I met when I started SASS in 1987 Shot a Rossi to start. And they ALL needed work. 2-3 Gunsmiths would come out to END of TRAIL & WINTER RANGE, to fix Broken Rossi's. And when they came out in .45Colt, the problems...

Christians, Muslims, Hindu (name any denomination/religion) can be so close to God, or the god they believe in, but then inherently distance themselves from that god thus believing "they" govern life, series of events, everyday routine. In essence...

The Wrist Brace helps my Right Hand. But I've still got to shoot Left Handed. And My SBH 7 1/2" is too heavy. Both shoulder, forearms and hands are crumbling. I can still handle .45ACP Light Target Loads. Light .22's are best.

45ACP dies work well for .45S&W and are supposed to work for .45spl. I have Lyman, RCBS & Redding die sets for .45Colt, .45ACP & .45 Auto Rim, respectively. And an old Lachmiller set I use for .45S&W. A single Lyman 4 die set in .45ACP can be...

I've been water quenching for over fifty yrs. My DAD was doing it before I was born, 66+yrs ago. The only things I don't W/Q are pure lead RB & Minie's for MuzzleLoaders. And 20/1 for Hollow Points and BlackPowder Loads. I've fired 35,000+...

I always wore 2 pair of Cotton socks or one pair of cotton inside one pair of Wool socks. Bought them that way too. Took two pair of socks to try them on. For Recruit Training I had 3 dozen pairs of socks. Never had a blister. But then I'd had to...

I found that even with de-priming the cases, when you go to dry them there is still moisture that likes to hide in primer pocket and flash hole. Iím kinda anal when I dry mine so I hit the base of each one on a towel before I stand each one up to...

I put mine in a padded vise and turn the cylinder with two .357Max cases. Or .445 Cases or .460 cases, even 32H&R Mag for my Old Colt Police Positive.

Yep, it's the Brass. Stick with American Made Brass. Or Good foreign stuff, such as Norma or RWS/DWM. Other imported stuff such as S&B and CBC give problems. Not worth the aggravation.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. First Time T/C Shooters often "crawl up" the scope. I think the Encore makes it worse, because of the increased recoil. It's often hard to get a good sight picture from a Pistol Scope, until you get used to...

Type %temp% in the run line, press enter. Press "CTRL-A" simultaneously to select all, then delete, it may not delete everything as something might be running, but you are safe to do delete what you can.

Leupold warranty stinks. Bought a 2X7 Vari-X ll in 1974. Mounted it on a Rem 700 in .270Win in Leupold mounts/rings. Never gave me a problem. In 2009 I took it out of the safe after not having shot it in 6 months. The Ocular Bell was "cracked...
