I had buddy that loaded 410 buck loads with 38cal balls. He slightly flattened balls in vice to increase diameter and allowed him room for another ball. He didn't hunt with them other than to shoot at coyotes around his house He had a H&R single...

I have a 14-141 & 8 in 35Rem. I just sold a very clean 141/35R with tang. The 8 was my first deer rifle when I was a kid. I'm keeping it for sentimental reasons but my favorite woods deer rifle is the 141/35R. I sold several 30 & 32 Rems when...

I saw one of these at a outdoor sports trade day affair Sat. Never new they existed. NIB a dealer had them $159 not interested. At $100 out the door I would be. I sold some Squires Bingham 22 autos under Outdoor Sports Dist, house brand. They were...

That Lyman is exactly the sight I have been looking for. The 99eg I bought is 90%+ as far as condition. The original sights have been replaced with Lyman flip leaf and front looks to be front bead from Rem 700. It is 1950 Manf. and was D&Ted after...

My original K22 has 6" barrel. Then I started buying the Centerfires. First was 29-2 in 4". I didn't like it and started buying them all in 83/8" if avaible. They all shot excellent but picking up some used S&Ws in 6"-6.5" I found that I could shoot...

I have a Williams Sight tool that is hard to beat removing & installing sights in ramps. Right now I'm looking to put original iron sights on 99eg 1950 Manf. I have tangs but would like a reciever sight. Don't want new alumilum sights so I'm going...

I have a few 17s and a 18. I have one I got new in 1964. It has some blue wear and minor dings but after thousands of rounds fired and years of living in a leather holster it is still a tack driver. I also have a Ruger S-6 that I got new same year....

Very nice boxes. I took the cheap shot. Used a piece of oak 3/4" scrap over common to get depth I need for whatever cartridge I'm working with. Lay it out for number of rounds then trim to retangle. "Chamber" block with Forstner bits. Then face...

I've seen this often, mostly on Colt 22 SA clones. It's from fanning. Mothers don't let your babies grow up to be Cowboys. I have seen DA 22s out of time strike web as well as SAs but it is usually confined around chamber not around the whole...

I'm about to find out I picked up a Lyman 180, on your advice. It does shoot well in the m24 but I though something a little heavier might do even better. I looked for a couple years for a 200-210gr. WC and the couple that were on CB got snapped up...

Thanks, haven't poured yet but I now understand how they are suppose to work now. In my other molds I keep a soft rag with WD 40 to swipe pins. It is the opposite of flux and helps release from pins if they start sticking.

Just unwrapped my MP 44 HBWC mold. This is my first one. I have a couple SC Ideal 32 & 38 HBWC molds. I would like to ask a stupid question. Mould came with HB core pins & blanks to pour solids. No instruction sheets. The Ideals are easy to work...

One thing about 97s, 12s and other milled parts guns. There is no part in them that needs to be forced. They can be gunked up, gualded from Babba forcing things or rusted. After you have been through all this and the mag tube pin is missing. I would...

I had a custom BSA Martini in 22 Ackley Jet that was a tack driver but a bit heavy. I also had a 17/222mg and it shot terrible on Rem 700 action. Ruger didn't make #3 in 357mg. but they did make a few #1 in 357mg.

I have a few S&Ws and all are P&Rs. I'm not interested in newer S&Ws. They aren't the gun they use to be. I've owned several I took on trades and found them to be good guns and they shot well. Taurus, junk as far as I'm concerned. I won't take them...

I wouldn't call Do-it's junk. They are cast and mating surfaces machined and precision of a bullet mold is not required. The next step down are investment cast molds and bottom shelf molds are just cast. I have a Do-it mold that half is machined out...

Basically for your purpose that motor is more trouble than it's worth. Best bet would be to sell it and get a motor more suited to the task. I was given a 50hp 3phase motor that I was going to use to run a saw mill. Nearest hook up to it was over a...

Power Co. can set up a transformer for your needs but 3phase in this neck of the woods is usually 440volts or 660 volts. Don't know of any 220 3phase. Normal domestic is 200amp single phase.
