Insert the nose of a 22LR into a center fire case and just pound it in...hahahaha....Seriously, I'd do like Conditor22 suggested and make an expander plug to the diameter you want. Then expand the size the neck of a 22 Center Fire case for that...

I wanted a 35 Rem 336 since I was in HS (40+ years ago)....I finally bought mine about 4 years ago. a 1981 model. I love it and does real well with J-word bullets. However, like you I want to start loading cast. I recently put out a plea for a...

I use either a 22LR or #6 shot. Large enough to not ruin too much meat yet you can easily find them. I remember as a kid using 7 1/2 and found there were too many pellets to find. #5 would also work well. I tried as best I could to find a...

I empty my #5 ice cream container of old powder after every coating session. The old powder goes into a separate baggy that I courteously refer to as puke in color. Every now and then I'll make up a batch of boolits of puke color. They shoot the...

I casted ~600 31141's over the past few days. (two sessions) I had about 70 rejects when I was done. 11-12% for me is in the range...I usually fall between 10-15%. If I'm under that....its been a great casting session. redhawk
