    What lube? If a water based lube pull or shoot it and clean. A grease based lube like mink oil will be fine. You can run a few damp patches down to the ball then a rust preventative if it makes you more comfortable.

    JB. Good info on Knapp it a piece of flint or chert. As I understood the OP has some cut agate type stuff. I never had any luck pressure flaking sawn agate. TC

    A diamond wheel. Thatís why I use knapped black English flints, just need my small brass hammer. TC
