The 3/4" top is hanging freely over the cabinet and sticking out unsupported. I did add a pcs. of 3/4" board that is 8" wide and 16" long and bolted the press thru both pcs.. I haven't glued these together yet but this has stiffened this up a good...

So here it is mounted on the bench. Unfortunately the 3/4" plywood that I used isn't as stiff as I'm used to, it flexes much more than the top my Pro1000 is mounted on. The height and position fit very well and it is much easier to see into the case...

Now I cannot say that the Breech Lock Pro is a huge improvement over the Pro1000 but I can state that they are similar yet very much different from one another. I now own both and there are aspects of each that I like and also dislike. I only bought...

Try it with plated or jacketed bullets. I think you will be surprised.

I have been using this for a little over a year now and think it's great. It works very well for me in 45acp with 200gr plated bullets, 9mm with all 115 gr and 124gr plated bullets and is the only powder I've found that shoots worth a darn in my...

I was going to try and hold out until the wife was back to work from her knee replacement but the "gotta have it" won out. No restraint here! If the Safety Prime works well then I don't think I'm going to lose anything moving from the Pro1000. I...

Received mine last week and ordered a shell plate from Midway USA. Received the shell plate last week Friday and it was the wrong one. Still haven't heard back from them on a return so not happy with Midway. Ordered another one from Titan Reloading...

Yes, worked in food plant where everything was constantly wet from wash down, always replacing PLC's, motors, wires, bearings, gearboxes. I have a Lee Auto Drum measure that's been back to Lee 3 times and never had a problem with their service....

So you've never bought a new Item before that was defective right out of the box? I know I have. While working maintenance I have taken expensive electronic machine controls from the parts shelf that were defective more times than I care to think....

Received mine today though still waiting for the shell plate and Safety Prime from Midway USA. They had the 45acp shellplate on sale for $11.42.. So far I have it mounted on a temporary plate and have the dies in it, and the case feeder with...

Just heard back from opticsplanet that was running the auction and was able to pick one up for $115.00 shipped. Shipping to be received by 9/6 - 9/14. So now to decide if I will order just a 45acp shell plate or add a 9mm too. Right now the 9mm...

HM, I know a couple other guys that I shoot with that are using a Pro1000 the way you describe. The way I tried it the first step of depriming, sizing and priming was pretty quick with the shell feeder. The second step kept messing with me with...

I tried only a couple times after I received my FCD on the Pro1000. 1st I put the sizing/de-priming die in the press and filled the primer tray. Ran off 100 9mm and then set up the press with the powder drop in station 1, the seating die in station...

From what I've found on Lee website the shell plate and carriers are interchangeable both ways but the Pin needs to be removed on the new press to use the old carrier and shell plates. Apparently the pin is just a press fit. My belief is that...

Again thanks for the feedback. I have an old 3 hole turret press and the Pro1000 and do not plane on removing any of them as they both serve a useful purpose. Just as adding a four hole press will as I have one gun that will not reliably shoot...

HeavyMetal thanks for the report and the positive comments. I'm still on the fence as to whether to buy the Pro4000 or the new Value Turret Press though Im leaning to the Pro. Did you have the case feeder on your Pro1000 and if so how is it...
