I could only wish. Know about every dealer within a 40mi. radius and only 2 carry any type of reloading supplies. One only stocks Small Pistol Magnum primers and the other is so high I could order online and pay the hazmat fees and be even up. Other...

No quarrel with that either. If a person is in the position to do that then that is great. I got back into this after going into retirement/disability so funds were/are limited. One of the reasons for coming back is that I have been spending...

My top is also a high density commercial Formica laminated desk top that is 1.125" thick and 30"X48". This thing is rock solid, weighs a bunch and works well. Haven't found anything tat will stain it and seems to resist static electric charges....

jmorris I figured you did. That is quite a collection is that a museum? I have seen the new model Turret and the new model Pro1000. They are nice with some nice improvements though that still is not enough to make me upgrade from what I already...

I believe the sentence was, hundreds to thousands, not hundreds of. I have seen a number of photos of benches that have a few thousand dollars worth of Dillons sitting on them. In my wildest dreams I couldn't picture me getting to the point of...

You are correct. You can say anything you like and voice any opinion you have just as we have the right to respond to that. And It may not seem like it to you but I view your comment in post #5 as a personal attack on anyone that uses something...

dverna and yes to be fair I did also state that if you do have first hand experience then share it! Don't just make a condescending remark and then walk away. Back it up with some facts so people can make an honest judgment. Did you choose to skip...

I find it funny that you mention this as when I bought my Pro1000 it was set up for 38/357mag and the case feeder would not work with the smaller 9mm shells so I did just that for a long time. Hand place one case at a time into the shellplate....

Same can be said, "If you have a Dillon and like it,...... Great". I really don't care what you or anyone else owns because I don't have to use it. I can add that I also own a GMC pickup that cost me a lot of money and it's been the biggest piece...

You are correct. I never have used DILLON and most likely never will. The 2 Lee presses I have WORK perfectly fine so why should I spend the money just to satisfy you or any of the other reloading SNOBS.

Another thought. I think I would hold off as the rumor is that Lee will be coming out with a new 4 hole Pro1000 with some very nice improvements and will use the same turret heads.

So far I like what I see but it will still be hard to upgrade from what I have already. I already have a Pro1000 with 2 carriers and 4 shellplates and also have a old 3 hole Value Turret press that I use for small runs and load development. This...

I'll be keeping the one I have thank you. Already have 4 turrets, 4 die sets, 2 carriers and 4 shell plates for it. Does everything I need it to do. Though I too thought the new model would be 4 hole to match the new model turret press.

As you can see I did something similar with 2 base cabinets that were given to me. What you see is a mockup. The cabinets were reversed and the small desk under the top was removed. This works very well for me as I have to sit when I load because of...

Sorry but I have to disagree. I find the S&B primer cups to be very soft. I have seen deformations and dents in the cup just from seating them which is something I have never seen using any other primers.

I take it you just understand but have never used one. I do have 2 and use them with some very fine pistol powder like AA#5 and Ramshot Silhouette and when I'm finished loading there is no loose powder on either the press or the bench

Nothing difficult about it. It screws into the powder thru die and just works. There are only 3 moving parts to the whole thing. The hardest part comes with selecting the correct cavity for the powder used or just use a micro bar.

I have no proof other than what I have experienced with my 3 guns of which one I know has a soft spring and has trouble with CCI Primers. I am just about thru my second k of the S&B small pistol primers and I know I will be buying them again.

dogfood I have been using S&B small pistol primers with great results. I have a Taurus PT92C that has a problem with light strikes and CCI primers. I was using Winchester but they are harder to come by than the S&B and are also about $5.00 per...

Haven't used either the RCBS or the Hornady measures. I do have 3 Lee measures, 2 Auto Disk and 1 Auto Drum. I have had better results with the Disk than the Drum as my drum measure has been back to Lee twice. The Auto disk, one can't beat it for...
