I trust God to let me live exactly how long he allows me to. I have survived this long only by His Grace, and I thank him daily for the rising of the sun.

You got a good deal on that one! Hopefully your luck holds out for the grip search. I think any square butt N frame grips will fit but I could be wrong. I had one 1917 and one Brazilian as a young man but they had the old chewed up original grips...

Thanks for the warning, KCSO. I agree that SPP .45 ACP brass is a dumb thing. And dbosman- how old are you, man?;-)I’ve heard of LPP .38s and .357s- but have never encountered either in 50 years of shooting.

The .300 Savage works just fine with standard cup and core bullets. You can safely use the 150 gr bullet with data for the 180 gr bullet but not vice versa. On my 99 Savage .300, I had to full length size the brass for good function as it had a...

Praise the Lord. I was 9 years old when I accepted Christ and I still remember the invitational hymn that was being sung and the words of our pastor. 52 years ago at the Church 3 miles south of my place. I still worship there to this day. I knew...

You didn’t specify what kind, so I asked for a Troll 2020 with fecal agitator to be sent to you. Free country( so far) so this is how I reply to your disrespect of the power of prayer. Have a nice day!

I agree completely that it is overscoped. Personally I prefer a fixed 4x on my short range rifles that are scoped; peep sights on the ones that aren’t. People that use their rifle scope for binoculars need a gun safety course BADLY. Congratulation...

As a kid I would take a nest to the pond with me, carefully break it open and use the larvae and spiders to catch fish with my cane pole. All my barn guns are muzzle protected from them. I’ve never killed an adult dirt dauber on purpose; I’ve never...

With your action open, take a small rod and push forward on the rear of the firing pin. The tip should protrude from the bolt face a little. If not, it’s definitely broken. It sounds like disassembly time.

I'm pretty much a RCBS guy, but I got rid of my Rockchucker Supreme & bought the MEC Marksman. It was a good switch & I'm very pleased with the MEC. No more ejected primers on the floor & a super smooth & heavy duty press. If you buy one, I feel...

I could be wrong and frequently am; but I think the only true top eject Remingtons were the Models 8 and 81 semiautomatic center fire rifles. Its ok(I guess); the gun writers I grew up reading were full of bull occasionally as well. Sent from my...

Double set triggers are quite sensitive to dirt- but you say that the hammer falls. What does the primer on the unfired round look like? If it has a light dent the problem may be a weak spring or dirt in the firing pin tunnel. I have no experience...
