Just the other day I cut around ten grains each from some loaded 38-55 boolits so I wouldn’t have to pull them. I loaded them slightly hot so this was a way to reduce pressure. You might say I hate pulling bullets/boolits too!

My RCBS 35-200 dropped 220 gr boolits from COWW. I have the Lee version now but haven’t tried it because I’m fresh out of .35 caliber rifle:-( I’m thinking of having Jes rebore a 22-250 to- drumroll.....350 Savage! Crazy, huh?

Does anyone else remember Wiley Clapp’s article on the”.357 QuadraMaximum? A snubby Colt .357 was reamed out to take .357 Rem Max brass loaded with Four “tuna can” .38 wadcutter bullets- hence the name. Experimenting with loads is fun; carry on. No...

The most oomph for .224" heavy bullets in the AR15 mag limitation is its reason for being. The 22 Nosler exists for the max velocity from lighter .224" bullets. Either one will kill pigs and deer with proper placement. The .223 does. Yes there are...

Yeah I saw that about Unique after I posted so cranial emissions are rampant today.....for velocity you're going to have to go to something like Re7, 4198, or 3031 I suspect. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk

An empty .45 ACP case full of it leveled off works great in the 5.56 with a 55gr jacketed bullet. I've just started using it in the 38-55, loved it in the 45-70 and .450 Marlin. It's good in lots of cartridges.

I don't see why the .40 is losing ground since despite it's Short & Weak nickname it's more powerful than the 9mm Parabelly. .38 WCF ballistics in a Shield or similar size pistol seems like a good idea to me. I had a .40 Shield and liked it except...
