    hollow point, open tip, spire point ? getting wrinkles ? I've not tried the mag brass, but the LR brass is real easy to wrinkle if it doesn't have lead behind it to help mash it over the ogive. the lead kinda supports the brass from wrinkling....

    I could see converting those to 300BO, but you dont really need brass for reloading 223 do you ? NOT worth the effort IMO when 223 is so abundant. way easier options. Trade ! with someone near you, or even a scrap yard trade would be better.

    Gew has it true. it's the silica, or whatever they put in (inside) the primer that causes problems. lots and lots of washing helps but No matter how you decide to deal with it, sooner or latter, it will poke it's head out.
