I keep kicking the idea of getting a bench-top lathe for my garage, to make some of the easier things, but at this point I think it's gonna be cheaper to just buy parts and assemble them. (call it a "Build" hehe!) I'm having a ball as iit is. I just...

the only 9's I have are a CZ 75 which I haven't shot in a very long time. And a Kimber Stainless Target, I like them both. But since I got My 10, the only other pistol I shoot is a S&W 44. Next one will be a Sig Sauer 1911 - 10 mm. That's my 0.02.

None of mine have moved, or maybe I should say I've had no problems with them so far. I always thought they would both leak a little tho. Never worried about leaks cuz a gas port IS essentially a "controlled" leak. It's just got to be kept under...

Amassing parts for my next Toy. I am handy enough that I have assembled several AR's without complications. Looking at gas block attachments there are two camps. Set screw and Clamp-on. I prefer the set screw but can't say why. Got to wondering if...

First off, "What you hear here, is the opinion of the speaker only !" But to me it seems like Bill is spinning his wheels. I'm still doing my research, but I don't see what 1mm of brass ((from 7.62X40 WT)to 300Ham'r(7.62X41)) is going to make a...

Yes, But by itself wont clean brass. Or maybe I should say it wont clean as good by itself. Somehow the salt and vinegar together cleans the brass. I'm not a Chemist, just trying to remember school in the BC era.

I don't really know about springs and angles, my reducer is just a die (looks like a big sscrew with a smooth hole in the middle) and a punch. I make cups with the half inch jacket maker then reduce from there. I bet if you e-mailed Dave he would...
