It is looking good. I did load up a few dummy rounds to test the magazines at home with before I went to the range. I had to do a little hand filing on my magazines before the rounds would feed OK. Other than that no problems. I did a fair amount...

When I think about it, most of these lever action magazine tubes are really just a tube of steel, aluminum, etc. One could easily order a tube of the correct size from one of the metal supply houses, and cut it to length, file the notch in it, have...

One thought is with shooting .32 ACP's out of a carbine, is the noise levels. It ought to be fairly quiet in comparison to a short barrel handgun.

You should have bought it right away. They are hard to find much less buy. The mag tube might be fixable depending on how badly it was bent.

I was thinking that there is some demand for a .357 mag or .44mag bolt action rifle. We now have one or more states with a restrictive hunting area or season where you are only allowed to use straight sided cartridge case ammunition. So a rifle...

Looks like they date from 21 April 1971. ref https://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=178198 Not sure on value yet, maybe if you keep them until they are 100 years old. The antique boxes tend to be more valuable than the contents though.

I wonder how much does that long barrel work to quiet down the little .380 cartridge. It would seem to be like having a built in silencer of a sorts with it. I answered my own question, it sounds like a .22 subsonic round when firing 380's out...

Earlwb replied to a thread 6.5 Creedmore - NOT in Factory Rifles
When I was at Cabelas, I noticed they had a whole rack of 6.5x55 Swede military rifles out for sale. Of course they must have been quite proud of them since the prices were up there too.Higher than many of the modern 6.5mm rifles they sell today...

Considering how nice my .45 HiPoint carbine works, I am seriously thinking about a 10mm version too. But I do think that the .380 Carbine would be pretty neat as well.

Oh Oh, you might have gotten those special cartridges that only work in those imaginary guns that stamp an ID on each round when fired. :-D

It basically sounds like they are ensuring they get their tax money to me. CA is really on a tax everyone to death binge anymore. They even make your life difficult when you move out of the state too.

Earlwb replied to a thread Remington 783 in 308 in Factory Rifles
I used my 783 in .308 Win for quite a bit of pig hunting, etc. I only stopped using it for hunting when I got my .450 Bushmaster AR rifle. But it is still my backup though. I can't claim that it is a tack driver, but its accuracy is quite...

Earlwb replied to a thread Cloth patch cutter in Muzzleloading.
Well I have been known to start the patch and bullet into the barrel, then use my hand razor to cut it off flush and then ram the bullet/patch on down to the powder charge. I just carry the extra patch material cloth like a rag.

About Earlwb
Biography:
I started hunting and using guns when I was about 10yoa. I have been doing it ever since, sometimes with a hiatus for a while though. I first got into reloading when I was 16yoa with a 7.65 Argentine Mauser and a 12 ga shotgun. I really enjoyed that too. I do have quite a few bullet molds that I have acquired over the years and I cast many bullets myself to be used.
