How about my .45 Cal Percussion Target Rifle with set triggers for a start. It is a nice shooter, lots of fun. Yes I have a bullet mold for it too.

Earlwb replied to a thread Axis Boyds Stock in Factory Rifles
You know when deer hunting only the first shot, maybe two count. So as long as it shoots where you want it for the first one or two shots, then having it drift after that is a moot point. So if it is shooting great, then you are in business. Hummm,...

As I see it, the gas check only needs to stay on long enough for the bullet to leave the barrel. Since the cartridge case is straight, then the gas check should stay in place when loaded too. Now after it gets hit with the propellant charge going...

Historically, the 32 S&W cartridges and guns have likely been used to stop an amazing number of robbers, assailants and killed quite a few people along the way too.

Another stock option is the Odin Works Zulu Stock. Adjustable and it has a minimalist style to it. https://www.odinworks.com/Zulu_2_0_Adjustable_Stock_Kit_p/os-zulu-kit.htm

I am pretty happy with my 6.5CM TC Compass rifle. It shoots better than I can. I did double check the stock screws as some people reported a screw coming loose. There is a company making full length scope mount rails for the guns. They have both...

zIf they used something like Cosmoline, a waxy sticky like substance, then you need to use mineral spirits. Paint thinner works OK, Kerosene works too. ref https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/06/04/clean-cosmoline-off-new-surplus-firearm/ ...

At least your CZ is working good. Did you get to wash out your T-shirt OK before the blood took a set?

I would like to find a lockable metal gun box that is about 18 inches long, 10 inches wide and four or so inches deep to put under a car seat. So far I haven't come across something like that. I was thinking of putting a Kel Tec sub 2000 under the...

The metal magazines I got all needed some work. I needed to file a bit of a rounded notch in the front so the bullets wouldn't hang up on the lip. Then I needed to use a hone on the feed lips to eliminate the burrs or edges on them too. I made up...

I could feel the difference in recoil from .223's to the .450 BM, but I didn't have any shoulder problems after firing off a lot of rounds through it. My lightweight .308 Win had some more serious kick to it though. I did feel it some later. But...

I like the A2 rifle length buffer stocks too. I have been eyeing the wood versions though. ref http://woodforar.com/ or https://www.boydsgunstocks.com/product-configurator or http://www.blackgunswood.com/

Well it is certainly possible that metal fatigue could have caused it. But 50,000 rounds would likely have the headspace get larger as the bolt lugs wear down too. The rifling is getting pretty worn down too. Is it possible to shoot a high powered...

Yes, I can concur. A more stiff spring should reduce the pounding on the frame and buffer.

Earlwb replied to a thread 6.5 Creedmore - NOT in Factory Rifles
The 6mm Creedmoor seems to be replacing the 6.5 CM currently. Then the new darling is of course the .224 Valyrie cartridge. They are shooting amazingly long, extra high BC, 87 to 90 grain bullets out of the .224 Valkyrie rifles. That gives it some...

Nice video. I like it. But when I used to do police work, we had to fire 50 rounds, double action only to qualify. One stage even had you fire 18 rounds in a set time limit at multiple targets that rotated in and out after so many seconds. Thus a...

I am not enthused by it. I would rather want a .30 Rem AR instead, which gives you .308 Win performance in a AR-15 size rifle.

Biography:
I started hunting and using guns when I was about 10yoa. I have been doing it ever since, sometimes with a hiatus for a while though. I first got into reloading when I was 16yoa with a 7.65 Argentine Mauser and a 12 ga shotgun. I really enjoyed that too. I do have quite a few bullet molds that I have acquired over the years and I cast many bullets myself to be used.
