    I "need" a 510. I have: 511, 512, 512P & 521T. I have another 521T that is a long term project that I hope will look like a 513S some day. I've never seen a 500 series Remington that didn't shoot. Good luck with the bidding.

oldhenry replied to a thread Coleman stove? in Casting Equipment
I used the Coleman 2 burner stove for years. When I retired the first one it looked like it had been in WW2. I used the Coleman fuel & the generic brand from W/Mart. I finally retired the second one about a year ago (it was not pretty). Like JohnB I...

A stripped barrel/receiver for a Mossberg 152 has been sitting @ the back of my bench for 2 years & the stock is in the closet: both are waiting for me to remember where I put the bolt & small hardware. I'm 81 and have an excuse.

I find that it's a good idea to slightly preheat the ingot mold (be it cast iron muffin type or alum. ingot type). Sometimes on the 1st. pour if not preheated the sudden difference in temp. creates slight condensation which is not a good thing. ...

Same here. My "231" reads HP38 & 4.0works with#358432 & 359429. For a friendlier load in the snub nose light revolvers: I load 3.0 of WST with the MP-130 (a 9mm boolit) sized to .358 for the ladies as an introduction load.

My uncle had one. In the 50's over the school summer holiday I lived on his 1100 acre farm in Union Springs, AL (best time of my life). He was not one to "baby" a rifle & I don't recall him ever cleaning it. His idea of cleaning was to wipe it down...

Onelight, thanks for the response. That particular manual only shows boolit weight & OAL of loaded round: no specifics. My Lyman Pistol & Revolver manual (dated) has good load info on the #358429 & it has a similar bearing surface below the crimp...

My Hodgdon Reloading annual manual has a separate list of loads for the Meister Boolits LSWC from other LSWC. In all calibers the suggested loads for the Meister boolits are heavier & sometimes use different powders. What's the difference between...

The pin on my 454-252-SWC is steel (it's circa early '80s). Mine also requires a deliberate action to close.

Yogi, I had an alignment problem with a new Lee mold handle. I called CS @ Lee & they sent me a new one: I did have to pay the shipping. I actually ended up repairing mine since the replacement was not aligned properly either. If you strike out...

Drew, Here are 2 photos of my 454-252-SWC that will give you an idea of their HP process. I wish they'd come out with the solid version of this boolit in their 6 cav. & if they'd change it from 2 lube grooves to 1 Keith type groove so much the...

I didn't see this addressed in answers to your question. If your Lyman sizing die also de-primes, you're good to go. Henry

This is one of my favorite boolits. I have a Lyman 2 cav., but would really like an 8 cav. MP @ 359-360. Anyone interested? Henry
