This "national data base" is the really, REALLY, bad part. Peoples medical history is probably the easiest way for the Government to "intervene" in our lives. This is very gestapo stuff folks. It is a real threat. I have been prescribed opioids for...

The only cheap tools I have ever had any trouble with were Harbor Freight torque wrenches. When new the darn things would not do the slip click thing... leading to massive overtightening. To make it worse, it lead to overtightening some front end...

I am still at it, but had to quit for a while with health issues and moving to new apartment and, the garage that I worked in (unheated) had the power burn out. The last couple of weeks I have reworked a collet crimping die yet again. This time to...

I don't think it's a hammer. I think that handle is just for positioning the balls in to whatever it is for. Certainly wouldn't need that kind of precision for peening something. It may be that the handle is for holding the various balls in position...

I have a Remington Model 514 that shoots well. Been shooting it since I was about 12 years old. Used to ride my bike to the rifle range to shoot back then. Ah the good old days.

You have to compress the pictures in order to upload them from your computer. If the picture files are over around 1mb you get an error. Make the pictures smaller with the compress feature in Microsoft Office Picture manager. It will change the size...

FINALLY...I got my portable bench finished. (except for a little welding and paint) I made it very tall so I can work standing up as well as sitting. The top of the bench is 39", the top of the handle is 48". Now when sitting I can see my work at...

For those many who have used or are using or will use ATF, I have found that the new Synthetic ATF is remarkably better than the old stuff. I would encourage you to give it a try. It is considerably more expensive but still way cheaper than buying...

One of the challenges of the 22lr bullet is that both ends, the nose and the base have narrower diameters than the middle. That means that the bottom and the top both have to have perfectly formed dies that join perfectly in the center. Otherwise...

I do not have a lathe. Can't afford one. Question: Could you make primer cups with a similar rig? Could you make a primer cup Punch and die? Then all that is left is to punch anvils and we can start loading primers.

I don't want to change the focus of this thread but I had not heard of hBN for coating raw lead bullets. I reload 22lr. I currently powder coat them. But am interested in alternatives. Do you know here can I get more info on hBN coat of lead?
