I believe that you can sign up for dropbox with a tablet and transfer pictures to that to download and post. I would love to see that. Sounds like a wonderful thing!

I am going to try and document the different processes of reloading 22 LR that I use. Here is a video of filing aluminum powder from a computer hard drive. I also describe how I use the powder in the reloading process. ...

For anyone out there who wants to know how to extract priming compound from toy caps, I made this video. Keep in mind that this primer is corrosive. Also keep in mind that when it is dry it is extremely sensitive. I have had this stuff go off when...

Bwaaaahahaahahaha. You win the biggest chunk o' lead award. Unless there is someone here who owns a mine and smelting factory. For you other guys, I admire your organization skills. I just pour mine into muffin tins and write the hardness on them...

It seems that almost every time a nooby has problems with casting it is because they are not running hot enough. Just remember this: Until your bullets come out frosty, you are not too hot. Even the frosty ones are ok to shoot. It just tells you to...

I use the jacketed range scrap for my 22lr bullets. They test pretty close to pure lead in hardness. I would say about 7bhn to 8bhn. But that is a guess.

I watched that video. I don't hunt anymore, health issues. But I never reveled in killing. I killed animals to have food and I love being in the outdoors. But that thrill of killing to me is well, sick. As far as air rifles. I never knew that they...

I have been making dies from bolts for a couple of years. However I have only made 22 Rimfire and 25 Stevens swaged bullets with them in soft lead and not jacketed. Some folks say that there is too much run out on store bought bolts to make good...

Yup, I believe that the Lab radar technology will eventually take over this industry. In the mean time, some of us can only afford the current cheaper units. (which were nearly science fiction 30 years ago).

Maybe led lights are the problem. I have noticed a high frequency "flutter" or almost a strobe effect when using a dimmer on non dimable leds. I hooked up a dimmer to the non dimable ones by accident and found the curious effect at about 80 to 90%...

I think it is also about how you phrase questions. Do you show respect for the people you are asking? Humility is probably the biggest thing. I have some rare occasions when I am somewhat humble. When I ask questions from that frame of mind they...

I bought one from Amazon about 8 months ago and it has functioned without a flaw. I haven't heard of any bad ones until now.

This is also nearly the method I use for making 22lr bullets. Except with the cylindrical "mold" I just use a ram and swage the bullets. It is much easier than people think. You can make the swaging dies on a lathe. I have deep head 7/8 14 bolts...

Yup these sellers are both in Wisconsin, where the guns are made. Looks like these are the first to get circulated. $429 is too much for one. Maybe $350. I was hoping they would make a long barrel "Buffalo Classic" equivalent. Those would fly off...

Raised in Wisconsin. First gun was a Model 1890 Winchester 22 short gallery gun. (1906 version) I hunted with that from the age of about 9. First deer rifle was M1917, 30-06. Shot my first deer with it at 13 yrs old. 365 yards with that wonderful peep sight. I quit hunting in 1984 and consequently haven't fired a gun since . Just started shooting again in 2015.
