If it makes a difference, this is ultimately a hunting rifle that pulls major bench duty and in wanting around a 2-2.5# trigger

Have a 280 AI that was rebarreled by my smith and cerakoted. Nice hunting stock and scope. A tad heavy in the 9# range but Iím not hunting in the mountains and it spends more time at the range than anything. That being said, I really need a drop in...

I’ve been wanting some really nice cast iron ware. I’ve been looking at butterpat, field, stargazer and a few others. I truly enjoy good cast iron.

I don't own a Glock so can't comment on that particular weapon. I do own several different 9mm handguns and can comment generally on the cartridge. My 9mm weapons are Beretta, Taurus, Springfield Armory, and S&W. I always start with a run of...

the aesthetics are pleasing to my eye. I wouldn’t mind trying one out but I don’t see it replacing my smith M&P or XDS or even 1911 for carry. Perhaps they’re wanting to slot in somewhere between Taurus and the others price wise.

I first ran into Red Dot as shotgun powder. I believe that was what it was designed for. That said, it works quite well as a pistol powder. Many use it for cast rifle as well.

For most medium to large game here in the USA, there is no single cartridge that is head and shoulders better than another. You have lots of choices, so what are you going to base your choice on? The average hunter buys an adequate rifle and picks...

One of the draws of the 30-06 is it presents the shooter with just about as much recoil in a standard hunting rifle as an average shooter can absorb fairly easily. If you go with a more powerful cartridge, you get into unpleasant recoil levels. If...
