fn1889m replied to a thread mountain lion in NH in Our Town
Socialists are far more dangerous than mountain lions. Herds have been sighted in urban areas, and are no longer an endanger species. Several have been seen in Massachusetts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

The Lyman T Mag press is set up. Works smoothly. Happy with it so far. Doing case prep as a single process. Will do prime, charge, seat and crimp as a single process. Not sure whether to use the ram prime or the tool on the press to prime. But it’s...

OP here. Went to my LGS Saturday. Shot at their range. Working on a project gun. Asked them what turret press (if any) they recommended. They had three Lyman T Mag II presses gathering dust in the boxes. It is a 6 hole turret rather than 8...

Tred1956, Thank you for the story. ———— I am not knocking Lee products. It might be the ram. And I like the RCBS press. If a T7 turret press is overkill for pistol, so is the RCBS Rockchucker Supreme. ———— I imagine I would use the T7 as a...

I traded a good M-14, forged receiver, clone for a Browning 45-70 BPCR. Reloading black powder cartridges is more involved than I expected, as much as I see the rifle as a beautiful tool. The Uberti 45 colt has a similar barrel profile. I am hoping...

I bought the Lee Universal set of 12. Half were too large for the RCBS ram. I enlarged the slot in the ram but 2 still do not fit. I do not want to do more filing. Lee is a different brand but these are just shell holders. They should be the same...

I am currently using a RCBS Rockchucker Supreme. (The only problem I’ve had is that it does not accept all shell holders . Oh well.) I always thought a single stage would be fine, but now that I’m reloading more pistol cartridges I’d like to look...

I have no .454 lead left. I will try 300 gn Nosler SP with H110, ruger only load. Photos below. I sold a SW M66 no-dash to pay for this. Sorry for poor cell phone photos. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Did that at 9.5. A friend suggested jacketed bullets and a slower powder. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro

I purchased another 1885 high wall, a Uberti .45 Colt. My shots were not consistently close enough together to sight in the rifle this weekend. I was shooting at 100 yards, because the 50 yard range was taken. I am out of practice and my eyes are...
