Red bear in my experience primers do not go bad. I have used Western brand dating from the 1920s and I am still using Remington 9 and 1/2 m primers from the 1960s in cardboard boxes that are water stained. They all went Bang. Sent from my...

I've bought 3 S&W .38 Special police trade ins ( two M10 & one M15) and a Glock 22. All had holster marks but that was the only problem. Unlike used Police Cars, used Police Sidearms typically weren't abused. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using...

The actions alone are worth the price if they are un- pitted IMO. The Greek is an FN? and the 08 a DWM. Top shelf Mauser actions. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Tapatalk

Sadly, they are stacked, about 4 high, right in front of my work bench...stumbling over them was incorrect terminology(sorry), I should have said, "in the way...and reaching over them is a pain"

.54 is the most popular in this area. .50 is fairly rare. I just finished a .53 Poor Boy a couple days ago.

I am hankering to do some smelting. I haven't done any for a couple years. I have 50 to 100 lbs of range scrap plus another 200+ lbs of unfired boolits and random fishin weights to melt. I'm just waiting for the mud to dry up in my smelting...

My expecting daughter brought me two 50 round boxes of it because I told her my Heritage prefers it. She bought a Kel Tec .22 mag pistol also. Academy has a sale.

I'm not sure what pressure you are loading to, but if your 20:1 has been working good for you, Then you will probably want to mix about 6 lbs of your pure lead to 1 lb of linotype, that will bring the antimony down to about 2%, but tin will be well...

And here I thought I was the only one who did this. 22-250 to .250 Sav, .243 to 7-08, 30-06 to .35 Whelen Imp, the most extreme was 7mm mag to .358 Norma. Wear eye protection and plink them at close range as there will be no accuracy obviously.

I quit the 44 leverguns, due to how Marlin and Henry make the barrel groove diameter and twist rate. If you can find a Marlin in 41 and can afford it, I'd buy it. I have one and love it. Last year I bought a Henry Big Boy Steel in 41. I like...

I no longer load 44 mag, but I did REALLY like HS-6 for mid level loads in 44 mag, back when I loaded for it. I've never tried it in the 500.

I disagree with removing it every time. That causes thread wear, and failure. Myself and other gun builders I know recommend only removing once a year for examination. Put them back in with anti-seize on the threads. The only reason to remove one is...

Yep, this is what I would do. Generally you can both see (light colored area) and smell freezer burnt meat...the smell is more of a "stale" type smell, not a rotten smell. It's easy to trim it off.

10-X, I have researched it. It is a factory built sporter. They may have used military parts but I doubt it as all the stampings are English. The research I did showed two sporter models; mine and a more futuristic looking one. I'll post up more...
