I'm not making fun of it, light white colors are proven to stand out like a BEACON to game unless you are in snow of course. Here in Idaho we are not required to wear hunter orange, its all camo for me, this is exactly what i hunt in, Idahoron took...

I have a UTG 4-16 on my Crossman Nitro Venom Dusk and absolutely love it! Although i do have 1 complaint, i wish the crosshairs were finer, other than the bolder than i care for crosshairs its been a rock solid good scope!

Koger, This is an itch that feels REALLY REALLY good to scratch!! I pretty much gave up on finding one of these awhile back and ended up buying a Lyman Great Plains Hunter in .54 Cal, it has the 1:32 Twist, it has taken a little time but that rifle...

No ultra long range with these rfd, Big Game Hammer, i am hoping for good accuracy to 200 yards. Neither of my Fast twist .54s will likely get any farther than 300 yards. The 500 yard and possibly beyond will be done with my .45 and .50 with the...

rodwha, When you get a chance try the Lee R.E.A.L.s at 100 yards, i am curious how much your group opens up? A good over powder wad is EXTREMELY important in my opinion, seal those gasses tight, and repeatable each shot. If you do good out to 100 i...

I shoot a 1:28 twist .50 Cal, and a 1:32" twist .54 Cal. This really depends on if you cast or not? Do you plan to Paper Patch? I am not sure what's available in store bought bullets, as I cast my own and paper patch. If you cast and don't want to...

Called ringing the barrel, i have not done it but have been told if you short start a patched round ball (inch or so in the barrel) forget to seat it to the powder, and fire it, i have been told that will/can 'ring' the barrel up by the Patched ball...
