I also have a 375 Guide, but I'm running a Leupold VX6 1-6x FireDot. It's pretty much perfect. I have a couple Primary Arms Chinesium scopes on range blasters. They're OK for what they are, but I think the 375 would kill them in pretty short...

I ordered a mold from NOE on 1/13, it shipped on 2/15, and USPS delivered it on 2/18. NBD...Demand is nuts and everyone is going as fast as they can. Your patience will be rewarded.

Yes, definitely use a ladle of some sort. Picking up a pot full of molten lead is a recipe for a visit to the burn ward.

Personally, I find the squirrels to be as interesting to watch as the birds. I just put out more food and let everyone go at it. You can buy bird food that has hot pepper added to it. Birds can't taste it and don't care, but it deters the...

Sage's is good people...Buy with confidence! In addition to selling Gator's checks, they manufacture as well, so they have stuff in stock pretty regularly.

Yeah, good for you. So did I. And my grandpa used to buy gas for $0.10/gal. But guess what? Thatís not what it costs anymore. Factory 9mm will never again be $0.18/rd. That ship sailed. The good old days ended in the spring of 2020. All...

kerplode replied to a thread Adblocker for iPad in Our Town
It sort of depends on what browser you're using. Edge, for example, has it baked in. Safari, though, needs a helper app. I believe Chrome does as well. Not sure about the hundred other random browsers that are out these days... I've been...

kerplode replied to a thread selling primers in Our Town
I can't really advise you whether or not to sell them. Personally, I wouldn't count on being able to replace them later, but you're gonna need to make that call. I will advise this, however. If you do decide to sell them, sell them for as much...

kerplode replied to a thread Two Gun Shows in Our Town
I haven't been to a gun show since the mid '90s. Back then I mostly went to pick up reloading components, but it became easier and cheaper to mail-order that stuff. Since I didn't need any overpriced rusty junk, jerky, Dragon's Breath shells, or...

I've heard this exact phrase on multiple occasions: "It's way over the max in the book, but it's fine...Lawyers write those books anyway." I've had, on more occasions than I can count, been shooting only to look over and see some goober pointing...

I LOVED Sears. They had EVERYING. And that Christmas catalog...Man, that was the basis of all my holiday wish lists growing up. Sucks, but times change. RIP, Sears!

kerplode replied to a thread Just Back From the Range in Our Town
The average gun owner these days is too stupid or careless or both to reload safely. Hell, most of them can barely shoot factory loads without accidentally killing someone in the process. They'll eventually blow their face/fingers off because they...

I used to keep boxes for stuff, but eventually got over it. If it's a nice plastic box, maybe, but cardboard immediately goes into the recycling. The breaking point for me was cleaning out my basement last time I moved and realizing that I had...
