I got the smaller Hornady case prep trio and love it but itís too slow. It runs on a 12v wall wart. So I decided to hot rod it to 18v and it runs just fine and way faster. Iím going to pump it up to 24v. Well worth the 80$

Uhm, well if you think swinging the lever 4 times vs 1 time for the same amount of process completed is similar then there’s no advantage. But to me, that’s a noteworthy advantage over the turret press. To put another way, on the turret press...

Because one handle pull on a turret completes one operation but one handle pull on a bl550 completes 4 operations. Also replaceable tool heads stay set up for caliber specific.

You just have to crank on them with pliers a little and they stay just fine. Some guys can’t stand the thought of teeth marks on any of their stuff though. It’s a great system once you get over that aspect. I hand tight all my dies except the...
