I moved you other post to the cast boolits section. if you post in this section your post count won't change just so ya know. if you read the words under each heading you'll see sections for military rifles, favorite cartridges, powder data...

Interesting I have a GB cannon smooth bore if I load it light it just spits the ball out and it bounces down the field maybe a hundred yards. A little more powder it goes boom instead of poof and we are unable to see the ball in the air or down...

I'd just work up a load for some 150gr barnes bullets for my 30-06 then buy 3 more boxes of them and be done with it. if you shoot 150+ deer in California in your lifetime your probably going to jail for the rest of it anyway.

umm. 453 would be correct for your 4525 throats. I'd try about 5,000 cylinders full before I got all worked up.

My .35/.30-30 has a 16" twist and .359 groove diameter, with throat like the .35 Whelen. I feel that the advantage of this wildcat is its longer neck which permits loading heavier bullets at full length to feed from the magazine without the bullet...

I'm not 17nut, but when duplexing smokeless with black to cut down on fouling I've always used a bulky and fluffy shotshell powder like Red Dot, Green Dot, Herco, but Universal or Unique are also OK. About 5% by weight of the BP charge being...

The I-frames are nicely turned out and made like a Swiss watch. DO NOT push the loads if you want it to last. About 2 grains of Bullseye, TiteGroup, 700-X, Red Dot with 98-100 grain bullet similar to Saeco #325, #326, RCBS 32-098CM are correct. ...

if you have antimony on the surface of the boolit the antimony surface will have small dendrites on the surface which will eventually polish and scrape the barrel into a better condition. somewhere about 10-K rounds you would see an improvement....

some 0-6's don't like 4350. I have had 4064 and Rl-19 outshoot all 3 of the 4350's on more than one occasion. I just worked a load with RL-22 and 168gr nosler accu-bonds to see how the Bergara likes them. the sierra 150's on top of I-4064 are...

I'd run the rifle one and see. also try a double tap on the up and down stroke of the handle. I do that on all my powder dumps except the plastic LEE one, I just use it for 4198. I can't talk myself into trying 5744.

stirring would do it. antimony melts at 1600 or so but it stirs in just fine. you are correct about silver adding both a flow ability and a hardness to the lead alloy. it works somewhere in between copper and Tin.
