My advice is to stay on the mild and conservative side with heavy bullets in the 9mm. I load 3 grains of Bullseye with a 147 cast in my 940.

1:40 casts well, giving good fill-out of the mold cavities and is economical. Casts much better than pure lead, but is not too hard for use in muzzleloaders or cap & ball revolvers. Ideal at black powder cartridge velocities with either BP or mild...

Why would a five groove be any different? They drill the hole, ream it and hone it and that's your bore. So it would have the same bore as 4/6/etc groove barrels. Micro Groove is slightly different. All you need is a V block to use with you mic...

I have to agree with you Lloyd. Razor Dobbs killed two cape buffaloes with a 5 inch barreled Sig 1911 in 10mm. He had through and through penetration on both of them and was using, I believe, Sledgehammer hard cast. I watched it on video and can...

No trees. But even on the tundra, there are no trees but it does come to life after the thaw. Animals are plenty especially the Caribou. They come up around the camp a lot. But so do the bears. Lots of Fox and other critters too.

Mary, the water depth between the mainland and our island is shallow. Around 10 feet I’ve been told. The ice is froze to bottom plus many extra layers of ice have been applied.

Question was asked about a bathroom break. I was only a few minuets away from the camp on the island and maybe 15 minuets away from the main camp. The camps are nice. Better than some motels.

I use this bullet in the .45 Colt with BP and with SPG lube there is ample lubrication to prevent foul-out in the Marlin Cowboy lever actions. Also very accurate and a good field bullet when cast 1:40 tin-lead

3 grains of either 231, WST, HP38, or AA#2, or 2.4 grs. of TiteGroup should all work in your LCP with the Lee 95RF.

I would be less worried about bullet diameter than increased seating depth from the longer 124-grain Lee bullet. The .380 ACP case is 0.68" long, depending upon the nose profile of the bullet, you could be increasing loading density and boosting...
