Think I’ve got 800-1000 Remington 10 gauge hulls that are trimmed to 2 7/8” and loaded with this that and the other . Usually when I load buckshot and slugs I load 25-30 of whatever size it is , since my 2 7/8” shells are kept in nice new white 10...

Welcome to the club...........I think a lot of us are getting a little impatient with this quarantine thing. Kind of like being snowed in for the winter....without the snow. I had a similar problem with my RCBS powder measure throwing oddball...

I reduced the case capacity of one 303 Brit case using epoxy putty and drilling out the center. I left a seating shoulder at the base of the neck. It worked fine with low pressure loads but when I upped the pressure, the epoxy began to erode. I...

The single stage triggers on older Lee Enfields can be swapped out for SMLE 2-stage triggers. A much safer option.

Since all my priceless Norma 6.5 Swede brass is loaded with J-words, I decided to form more brass from 30-06 for cast lead shooting. Easy as pie, right? Just lube that baby up and shove it home, trim and you got cher self a Swede case, right? Uh,...

Since I'm forming 6.5 from 30-06, I might try it as an initial sizing die and then open the neck back up with an expanding die in my 310 tool. The first case I ran into the ordinary sizing die wrinkled badly at the shoulder, despite Imperial sizing...

I haven't reloaded for my 6.5 Swede in many years, but the time had come. So, I hauled out my set of Lee dies.......still in the old round plastic container......and was mystified by THREE dies instead of the expected two. I have the usual...

Thanks for the thumbs up, Dan. Bill, I've done most of my testing into a 'test tube' so depending on velocity, I catch the patch fragments. With heavier loading and I find very little patch remnants. The catch medium is rubber tyre grounds...

Bear in mind my buckshot loads are generally loaded to be lower pressure not for my shoulders sake but just to be a bit more comfortable shooting them in damascus and twist barrels . About the only size I load for a 12 gauge 2 3/4” at present is...

I’ve been using junky el cheapo Lee 2 cavity molds for 0000 (.380”) and 00000 (.395”) . I could order six cavity ones from Track of the Wolf but I cast enough already with the two cavity jobs to last me a good long while .

The die you describe with the "fat" adjustment screw is, in fact, their 'universal' decapping die. It has no expander or sizing capability, just the depriming pin and that's what I ordered. Now, back to the bench....................:)
