    I'm not familiar with micro- groove in anything but 22 LR so I cannot help there , but keeping your options open on mold selection can't hurt , I understand the reasonably priced mold to try is nice , but a few bucks spent on postage asking members...

    Good start and that's the hard part for most , just getting started . About the lube - I vote for trying them all possibly start out with tumble lube because it's quick , cheap & easy so you can get some of your new cast boolits loaded in brass ....
