I won't lie, when I lived out in the country, a can of brake spray and a running propane torch does quite well on any bug and the satisfaction is through the roof! Sweet, sweet revenge it is!

Absolutely, I wouldn't encourage firing smokeless in a BP frame. But if you have a modern production .38/.357 you could empty the brass that way or even pull the bullets but that's no fun. Just a thought!

The RCBS Lockout Die is meant to detect gross overcharge or undercharges but it will trigger with less than a double charge on most powders. It might not with say a very light charge of very fast powder which it pays to be extra careful with such...

I just wish Federal would crank out some more standard small pistol primers, heck even the Gold Medal Match, id still buy them! The shelves always seem to have large Federals but small pistol and rifle are nonexistent. Occasionally I find the...

I also have the RCBS Lockout die(s). I really like this design better as its more than a visual indicator, it will keep the press from cycling. I use one almost exclusively with Silhouette too.

Remington still produces a 50rd box of .38 S&W in a lead RN factory ammo in their target line for what it's worth.

I ran into that problem when I got the pistol because of the factory boot grip. It was great for comfortable shooting but ot didn't play well with speedloaders. That is why I put the classic style Altamont version, magna-like grips on the gun. They...

I can't say I disagree with you and are all valid concerns that had crossed my mind. With the new .38 HST being supposedly optimized for short barrels, I hope Federal did their homework to address some of the problems with .38 pocket snubbies. The...

My daily carry S&W 442 is loaded with my own handload using the Lehigh Extreme Defense 100gr. copper solid behind a charge of Silhouette. In my pocket is my reload, a speedloader of the new Federal .38 Special HST. Its almost a jacketed hollow-base...

I have one of these already, haven't used it much yet but it will get plenty of use before long. So my opinion of it is that I like it!

I've been playing with. Power Pro MP-300 as of late, really liking it so far! Using 18.2gr behind a 158gr Berry's plated RN, it's a full snort load!

With a compensator, you need ammo loaded pretty hot to take advantage of it and by hot that sometimes that means warmer than SAAMI spec. With the proper load, the compensator is hands down more effective than just barrel porting, not even close!...
