I bought a SAECO furnace and a box full of solder snippets from an old rummy LGS owner who was retiring. Took 'em home, and decided to check out the solder snippets (about 5 lbs worth). Good thing - I found about a half dozen small primers. Think...

If in front of the TV, I see who/what is calling, and if I don't know them, it rings 4 times and quits. If on the computer, I answer, say 'Hello', and if I get no response in about 2 seconds, I hang up...

WW's only have about 1/4 to 1/2 % Sn, and about 3-4% Sb, so is significantly heavier than the Lyman #2 (5% Sn, 5% Sb, 90% Pb). And remember the two most important rules of living: A. Don't sweat the small stuff. B. It's all small stuff.

Re Gloves: I use leather gloves I buy from Costco - 3 pair for less than $20, and do the job, while not being as clumsy as welder's gloves. Re pot running out: I have a supply of ingots close to my casting station, and replenish as I go. I like to...

It's a Cramer mold - says so on the sprue plate. And the sprue swung free until I tightened it up a touch - now it interferes on the stop. I can't explain that, either - stop is pretty well set in place. My guess is that a previous owner tried to...
