Zbench replied to a thread lubing cases in Swaging
Double +1 for RCBS Case Lube 2. I use it on all my brass when resizing. Main reason is it comes off really fast in the wash since it's water soluble. For swaging, I use straight castor oil. Much more slippery than swage lube, and easier to clean...

Zbench replied to a thread Adjustable Core Trimmer. in Swaging
Duke, The core cutter in my book does not replace the core swage die. I cut my cores a couple of grains heavier than are needed, and then I run them through the core swage die. I can cut hundreds of cores from wire in just a few minutes which...

Zbench replied to a thread Adjustable Core Trimmer. in Swaging
Looks like a great solution if your lead is very uniform and you cast your cores. I wouldn't call the Corbin trimmer garbage though. I get excellent results when trimming wire all the way up to .430. Your set up fails when using wire which is...

Zbench replied to a thread Making lead wire in Swaging

I've had the pro edition for a year and I'm still learning...I do believe you can trick the program and do a flat base pin. It'll give you an error, but it'll still calculate.. I'll have to re check how I did it..d
