What types of surfaces and materials are we talking about and what are you trying to do? Kill the mold, prevent mold, how large of an area? Why buy expensive commercial products when plenty of solutions are out there and for the most part dirt...

I keep track of rounds fire in each gun. It takes about a minute after each session to enter the number of rounds fired into a spreadsheet. Is it particularly useful? No. But it's still kind of interesting to know how many rounds have been through...

I've started using the MP 8 cavity mold and you definitely have to run them fast when starting. I use a hot plate but it only goes up to 300 degrees so the spruce plate really isn't hot when you start. I've got in the habit of starting off by just...

Any bullet that will fit into the case and then chamber into a gun doesn't "need" to be sized. The throat or barrel will do a fine job of sizing down a bullet. Sizing down a bullet .001 to.003 doesn't take much effort. I typically size...

NOE has the 2 cavity in brass or aluminum. Personally I'd go with the 5 cavity aluminum.

It'd be a lot easier to list the problems you're having and let people trouble shoot those problems rather than list every possible issue and all possible solutions.

I got 4 lbs N340 and 2 lbs N320 from powder valley. They were on sale for $27.95 and Vihtavuori has a rebate for $5 per lbs. that brings the price down to $23 a lbs which is really cheap for this stuff

I've got a 12 lbs rebound spring in a 929 and that made a huge difference but the trigger return is kind of weak. I haven't had any problems but it is noticeable. A 14 lbs rebound spring in a 460 XVR dropped the DA trigger pull by about 1.5 lbs...

Has he used this die before with different result? I've never heard of spring back accounting for anything close to .002 discrepancies- more like .0002. It's possible the sizing die is off, it's also possible the measuring device is off. ...

I can't imagine there being any concern over 6 lbs and 500 primers. I've carried a brick of primers and 2 lbs of powder strapped to the rack of a Honda nighthawk. I'd carry the reloading supplies in the same manner I'd transport them home from the...

It really depends on much variations the current surfaces have. How experienced are you at tiling? A little bit of variation in the amounts of adhesive used can offset small differences. But this is assuming we're talking about variations of 1/8"...

I've got an etekcity scale that goes up to 11 lbs off Amazon for $10. It has worked well the couple of times I've used it, but I'm not sure it'll be helpful weighing individual bullets.

The weather forecast shows a high right around 90 everyday in Tampa right now. That doesn't bother me as long as I've got a fan blowing on me. I was casting in weather like that last week - 85+ degrees and 85% humidity. That's much better than...

Some companies make silencers that are compatible with various calibers. The Silencerco hybrid 46 is supposedly good for anything from 9mm to 45-70. You just have to buy a $70 piston for each of the different calibers you plan on using. I have...

There's lots of light loads for .30-06. I'd imagine any light .30-06 load would work just fine in .308. 5 grains of Bullseye is a pretty common load. I'm pretty sure I've seen Red Dot loads out there and hopefully someone can help.

I started reloading at a desk using a plain old chair. After a year or so I built a bench where I could stand and wouldn't want to go back. I moved my casting setup onto a platform so I could stand while casting also. You're much more mobile and...

Everybody makes mistakes. It's how you handle yourself afterwards that really matters. That guy made a mistake, but then owned up to it. Most people would continue to whine about it and let it ruin their day.

Making a dedicated 40 S&W revolver is kind of silly if the gun can handle the pressure of 10MM. Like contender1 mentioned, I don't mind moonclips at all. I can load up the moonclips as quickly as I can load a magazine, it's much easier to clean...

Does it have to be 10mm? 40 S&W would be much cheaper and easier and it's basically the same thing only 1/8" shorter.
