Any $300 S&W 65 or Ruger Service Six is going to look like it spent a couple weeks at the bottom of the East River. Have any of you priced the used revolver market lately? Send me a link to a LNIB $300 Service Six and i’ll mail you $100.

Those guns aren’t even being made any more. The closet competition is the Kimber K6 and their prices will be identical in a couple months.

Everybody complains about the price but all the competitors are just as bad. A plastic framed Ruger LCR in .357 is going to run you over $600. A S&W model 60 will be over $700. A Kimber will be over $800. In a couple months the street price for...

I grab a handful at a time and just look at the primer size. I’ve found it much easier to spot the small primers when looking at a batch of 10-15 cases at the same time. It’s also much quicker to do a dozen at a time. I throw all the SPP’s into a...

100% load density in a .357 magnum case will still feel like a "cowboy load".

Why are you testing the head space after flairing? You remove the flair with the seater die or the taper crimp die. Don't test for head space until the ammo is finished. Additionally most people never test for head space. Just do the plunk...

Are they certain the wheel weights are all lead? Steel and Zinc are now very common in the US. $2.20/kg would be a good price if they are all lead. I wouldn't worry about the weight of the clips... Buying pre-formed ingots would save the...

I've shot small amounts of 40 S&W out of my Glock model 20 and my Delta Elite. It works. The flat nosed bullets used in .40 and 10 won't ignite a primer if a case somehow gets lodged in the chamber. A new Glock extractor costs under $20. I don't...

Helping to reduce sticking with graphite is something I need to try. Oil in the mold cavities will cause wrinkled bullets and should be thrown back in the pot. I use NOE’s and MP’s oil without any problems. Just apply sparingly.

I asked around at close to a dozen different gun shops when I had mine and not one would sell to an out of state C&R holder. They’d ship the gun to you local FFL but after the shipping cost and FFL fees you’re spending an extra $50 along with...

Now you've gone and opened a huge can of worms… A 1911 or a 44 Mag? The only correct answer is both! The .44 Mag is definitely the more versatile gun with the option to shoot Magnum or the lighter .44 Special loads. However the 45 ACP...

The sizing die definitely could be the problem. I had my .38 Special die setup setup at about 1/4" from the shell plate for a while. This worked in most guns however some guns have a tighter chamber and the slightly wider base caused the exact...

It's probably worth more as is. I definitely wouldn't spend the time and resources to melt it down if you're intending to sell it. If you're going to cast with it than it doesn't really matter.

No one is going around bidding up everyone’s max bid to see what others limits are unless they have a large fortune to buy a whole bunch of guns. The person going around bidding above your highest bid is doing so because they’re willing to pay...

Those look good. Your first casting session is as much about learning how everything works once you actually start pouring lead and getting a good feel for the process as it is about producing useable bullets.

If this is a 9mm RN bullet than 1.07 is pretty short. What diameter are you sizing the bullets to? What gun are you using?
