You guys really over think this stuff. I’ve rinsed my bullets in tap water with salt added to see what happens and it made no difference in adhesion. Alcohol, acetone, distilled water, etc. None of it is needed but if it makes you sleep...

On an AR it takes like 30 seconds to take the lower and upper apart. Once apart it's easy to see down the barrel. It helps to have a well lit background to look at. On many bolt actions you can pull the bolt out and get a real good view of the...

The government owns the Lake City Ammo Plant. It’s operations are currently being run by Winchester. I’d be willing to bet they have the capacity to manufacture whatever they need irrespective of what going on with the civilian market.

I’m pretty sure the military is sitting on enough ammo to last a long time. Asking for Congress to determine how much ammo to make seems like a huge mistake to me. The amount of 9mm ammo expended during wartime on any given day is probably a...

In addition to what has been mentioned - allowing the gun to recoil like normal will also help make the shot it at where it's aimed. When you firing a handgun the barrel starts recoiling a slight amount before the bullet leaves the muzzle. If...

A slight taper crimp isn’t going to hurt anything.

20 zinc weights might be in the mix or 20 lbs of zinc weights? 20 individual zinc weights won’t really matter much in 100 lbs. 20 lbs of zinc would be a big problem.

A week or 2 ago I was looking and they had about 90% of the Accurate brand powders available. They must have just gotten a shipment from them. The selection of everything else minimal at that time and primers of course.

Anyone out there have an extra Lyman 450 they are willing to part with? I think the lock ring on my 450 got cross threaded so now I have a dedicated .453 lubesizer however now I need to buy another one for the other calibers I use. I have...

I bought the same stuff in 2018 for 17.99 a box. They had IMI M855 for $.25 a round at the same time and I stocked up on it also.

Like others have said- they don't wear out, they can be dropped/kicked/thrown/abused and generally still work, they've been cheap and easy to buy for years, you can buy 10 and most will just sit unused for years and years. I'm always on the...

8,000 rounds or 8,000 projectiles? There’s a big difference between the two.

Both seem to know their stuff, but the videos are usually twice as long as they need to be if not 3 times longer than necessary. Playing Elvis at 1.75 speed helps and FC45LC can be played at 1.25 or 1.5 and it makes it more tolerable.

All firearms stuff is scare. When ammo sells out people start buying reloading supplies. When modern guns are all sold out, people turn to the old school replica guns. When all the .308 supplies sell out, people buy the .375 supplies.
