My egg eater count is slowing way down. I checked traps today and nothing touched any of them. I had something tear out of one of my have a heart live traps and one dog proof foot trap on last week. I would expect those were probably raccoons. I’m...

I have to say they had some good reads on lightening triggers. Got mine down to 2 1/4 pounds with the help. Also on properly head-spacing and proper primer seating on fail to fire issues. My 336 had some random ammo that took two strikes of the...

IMO, the .40 S&W is best with 160 gr. The 10 mm can make a 160 scream, and for protection against critters like large bears it makes the 200 gr perform quite well. So, if you only want ONE weight for both, 160 is it. Let me specify that my...

You guys were making me think so I threw my 6x24 Nib $25 Tasco varminter on eBay and got 90 bucks for it. I would never use that type of magnification for anything but bought one because of how cheap they were. I see them selling for up to $149 now....

I bought an Aero precision M5 complete lower Minus a buttstock direct from Aero. It was $212 shipped. I see they have a 10% off your first purchase. I believe normal price is $249.00. The Aero has an adjustment screw that removes the wiggle...loose...

I put a red dot on my 8 3/4" anaconda when I bought it back in the 90's. I can shoot first sized groups with all six rounds free hand at 75 yards along with j words when I use to shoot it all the time. I'll have to try cast in it.

If the world goes to crap I don't think there will warehouses full of 4570 rimless ammo or casings available. A good old boring 308 AR10 and you'll never be short on ammo. If I own an AR platform I want it in some type of chambering i can walk...

I believe a little harder alloy helps with top speeds. My tightest group with 7.8 bh is 1600 fps out of my 77/44. My 80/20 plus 15% pewter with a BH of 15.4 shot great at 1750 fps and also with 23.8 grains of h110. I didn't run the 23.8 grain load...

The 45-70 govt is going to have a lot of feeding issues in an AR platform. There’s a reason why every other caliber is offered besides it in an AR. Rimless cartridges aren’t made for ARs. Stuck with the bushmaster or .458 solcom. Shooters have alot...
