That squares with my personal experience, too. I got off the .22 rimfire for field use when I was a young adult. I have never been disappointed with a proper small game load in my .32's and I used them a lot for that purpose. FWIW Dale53

For their safety, keep your pets out of any area where there might be metal chips on the floor. I don't let Timber in the shop. If you have a good sized air compressor, consider a spray mister. On the mill, I prefer them to using flood coolant.

Amen. Modern theology has no theology of sin. Consequently there is no need for salvation - you notice they don't talk about that either. It's all about getting what you want, and sin is of no more consequence to them than a bad cold, if that.

I wouldn't mind having a 93 or 95 action rebarreled for the .30-30 Winchester or .32 Special. I think it would make for an excellent cast boolit woods rifle. Years ago very good condition 93 actions were available for $25. Wish I'd got one while...

HA HA HA! Now, most of us with one of the 327 Federals just have to take it out with the ear-splitter loads at least once. Marie and I did last winter, and got that nonsense driven right out of our heads. The SP-101 x 4.2" is just a...

Then-Hercules/now-Alliant Blue Dot is kind of a "Man without a country". It was released c. 1975 and intended for HEAVY loads in 3" Magnum 12 gauge lead pellets of 1-3/4 oz. to 1-7/8 oz. I recall Bob Milek writing a long article about Blue Dot in...

While there are instances where you don't want to use a cutting oil (cast iron is one that comes to mind). For most machining, a cutting oil or fluid will reduce vibration, produce a better finish and extend the life of your cutters. For many...

Doubleg, The only issue I see at this point is that the LFN (Long Flat Nose) bullet may be overly long for the magazine. Have your tried it? I took two white tails last Fall with a 280gr Wide Flat Nose fired from my 77/44 at 1750fps. Both...

I think if you only shoot sensible cast boolit loads that it will be a long time before your new barrel is "broken in". That is because cast boolits are very easy on barrels. I know you will get a variety of opinions on when to clean the barrel on...

Ya gonna shoot cast out of the 7mm TCU? If so the Soupcan GB mold or the Lee work pretty well with Junior1942's load of WC820 (N). Think his web site is still up

Put a 10% federal tax on the 26.1 billion American dollars that individuals in the U.S. send to Mexico in wire transfers each year. Think 10% is too much? Sales tax in the city of Los Angeles is real close to that. Yep! Belongs in The Pit.

Μολὼν λαβέ; approximate Classical Greek pronunciation [molɔ̀ːn labé], Modern Greek [moˈlon laˈve]), meaning "Come and take them" is a classical expression of defiance reportedly by King Leonidas in response to the Persian army's demand that the Spartans surrender their weapons at the Battle of Thermopylae.
