Now that Lyman has discontinued the 310 dies I was wondering if it would be possible to turn down a regular die and chase the 5/8-30 threads on it. Sent from my VS880 using Tapatalk

that is not a problem because you can bid high and they only take the next increment bid amount eventually you may reach you high bid amount but if you set your max for that item you probably weren't going to pay more than your max bid anyway

Shot the ones I cast the other day. They seemed to shoot well enough. It was just some informal plinking from an improvised rest, at a steel target 50 yards away, but it showed promise. The LLA didn't leave any hard fouling at all. Was loading it on...

303guy "What this does show is that CUP values are not very accurate which is probably the only value of this chart." Have to agree 100% with that! CUP is only a measurement of the maximum psi that crushed a copper pellet so much. Not very...

The Rick Jamison saga is a sad one. He was one of the better gun writers back in the 80s and 90s. I always enjoyed his articles and have a couple of his books, one on coyote hunting/calling. He went to a lot of personal expense, development and...

Thanks for the thumbs up. I will give that a try. I'm new to 22 target shooting as you can tell. I just used to load up and shoot. My 512 did just fine and was pretty accurate with the HV ammo I was feeding it. Here's a crown that needs...

The M43 PBL uses a 4' screen spacing both at the muzzle and with the down range screens. The proof screen is in the middle at 2' from the start and 2' in front of the stop screen. No real preference as with most such screens you want them far...

Yes, I had a look at other data including Hodgdon's tables and what I figured is pretty much in line with what you have both said. I found a correlation data graph and clearly the pistol CUP figures and rifle CUP figures do not align when...

I weigh my rifle bullets. I also started doing so with 45-70. When I was initially doing load development for my guide gun, accuracy was a bit lacking. When I started sorting +\- 1 grain, my groups improved noticeably. Sent from my iPhone...

My wife got me a wooden sign shortly after I retired-- RETIRED, under that, DON'T HAVE TO, DON'T WANT TO, CAN'T MAKE ME. My feelings exactly. BTW, she regrets getting that sign, keeps threatening to toss it. :violin:
