they might surprise you. I shot ppc for years with a clark/smith 10. For grins one day I loaded up some 115 rcbs 9mm round noses with 2.5 grains of bullseye to plink with and found they outshot my comp load. They were sized to .357 and conventionaly...

yup the trick to it is to use your brain. If your shooting a gun you know leads up fire a jacketed bullet every 10 or 20 rounds to keep it clean. You don't wait till the rifling is full and its dripping out the end of the barrel. Bottom line is if a...

I found 3 more boxes at Scheels. So I guess 500 of them should get me through to the point im not able to go in the woods. Don't use the gun in normal deer season. Just for crop damage shooting and have enough guns for that that there normaly...

I don't think there is an official name but when I went to All Guard Match rifle course they referred to the sound the action makes when it moves as "chirping". Glue in bedding used to be common with the benchrest crowd. They would bed the action...

Dave, If I remember right, it was member caffe, and he made mention of wanting a Star lubesizer, but only needing a 9mm size die. Maybe he changed his mind and removed his post?

Same for me. I tried Rem 6 1/2's, CCI 400's and various pistol primers and Rem 7 1/2 worked best. I have read the 6 1/2 and 7 1/2 have the same priming compound with the only difference as cup thickness??? It could just be a lot to lot variation...

If you can cut out most of the rot, and replace it with good wood, the bondo will do wonders hiding your patch job. You can then use the bondo to fill any other imperfections in the door, sand, prime, and paint.

I've never seen one that shot that poorly period. That being said most of the ones I have done are NM rifles that needed bedding and or a new barrel. I did a dozen rack grade unfired M-14's with the standard barrels and 4 or 5 shot well enough to...

You maybe getting that finning on the bottom of the 150 bullet because it's being sized down a lot more than you think , what size is it dropping out of the mould? And what are you sizing it down to ? Just because it's a .358 mould don't mean it's...

Μολὼν λαβέ; approximate Classical Greek pronunciation [molɔ̀ːn labé], Modern Greek [moˈlon laˈve]), meaning "Come and take them" is a classical expression of defiance reportedly by King Leonidas in response to the Persian army's demand that the Spartans surrender their weapons at the Battle of Thermopylae.
