Yep for felt recoil it's makes a notable difference. I own a Marlin Guide Gun, a Browning 1886 carbine and a Browning 1886 rifle. All in 45/70. The 86 rifle has a crescent butt plate and it brutal with anything over mild loads. The carbine has a...

Pressure doesn't directly create recoil. A theoretical example would be if the bullet was locked in the cartridge. When the cartridge is fired it would just be a pressurized vessel with zero recoil generated. The reaction to the pressurization is...

I doubt you will be able to chamber anything much over .313", you could neck turn and possibly use .314" but with throats that large not much help.

If those numbers are correct(.340, .325, and .320 these sound like 8mm, the .340 maybe neck dia of loaded krag round???) you are not going to come close to filling the throat, ever. You will be limited by chamber neck diameter and somewhere around...

Use less pressure and run it through twice. I believe I got that from Lyman CB manual #3(wouldn't that be strange their lubrasizer and giving directions to solve a problem), it worked where ever it came from.

You need to fit your bullet to the throat. Try asking on the wanted section, you can probably find some samples to try.
