Forrest r, Thanks for the insightful post. I, and probably most, didn't know there was a difference. Even though I don't shoot Blazers, if I ever do I'll know what to look for. Being educated on a subject I truly enjoy was one of the main reasons I...

Looking on line, the cheapest I have seen is Aguila 22LR standard velocity from Ammomen at 4 cents per round or $1.89 for a box of 50. Prices are finally on the decline. It was a sad state of affairs when you could reload 9mm for less than you...

I have the 92 in 45 Colt. I wanted the 454 initially but they were unavailable at the time and being impatient didn't want to wait. Good thing about the 454, as has already been mentioned, is it's ability to also shoot 45 Colt. Say what you will...

To be perfectly honest, I liked the looks and feel of the Kimber when I had a chance to fondled it at Scheels. It reeked of quality. But them again a $700 snubby should. My dilemma is understanding the need versus the want. Just for good measure...

I can't speak for the LCP but I do use the LEE TL356-95 in a Bersa Thunder 380 with very good results. I powder coat and load it in front of 3.1gr of W231or HP38 with a very light taper crimp. The Bersa, being fairly heavy, eats these like popcorn...

+1 on the LEE Classic Turret Press. Mine sits on the reloading bench between the LnL progressive and the LnL single stage. Have used in going on 15 years. Probably have loaded more rounds with it than the other presses combined. If a part breaks or...

I think most would agree that the Obama administration helped the gun industry significantly. Now that the panic is reduced sales have adjusted accordingly. It seems to me that Remington should rehire a bunch of these people to help clear up the...

Faustus is correct. An ounce of lead is an ounce of lead. Your shotgun isn't going to notice any significant difference between shot and slug's of the same weight. I've loaded hundreds of LEE's 1 oz. slugs in a variety of hulls with no issues. Load...

I've look at these in the past. The problem is if you are stacking two of the LEE disc's there no way to add this to the dispenser so you're stuck with what ever the two disc's throw. I've also had issues with some powders (Unique) with light loads...

I can see where the LEE would work…. however, the problem I have with their Disc system is the gaps in powder throws between Disc sizes. When Loading rifle and Mag pistols I want to be dead on in powder weight not “just close”. While the Hornday...

While I particularly don’t care much for Simmons, I must admit that the 6-21x44mm 44 Mag scope on my Savage BJR has been stellar. I bought it on a whim thinking I’d replace it with better glass when time and money permitted. 7 years later and the...

1998 9mm was the first of what turned out to be many. Not having a huge budget back then I started with the LEE loader kit. You haven’t enjoyed the thrills of reloading until you’ve seated primers with a hammer!

I size before and after. Sizing before helps eliminate those castings that might be a bit small while sizing after the PC process gives uniformity in diameter. I take it one step further and after finial sizing coat all my PC boolits in RJL.

I use Starline brass exclusively when loading 44 Special. It has shot well out of a S&W 629 and Rossi M92 lever action. However, I have found that when pushed to near max loads, it like some powders much better than others. Red Dot, Bullseye and...

another vote for Bullseye. 148gr DEWC in front of 2.9gr. Works well in my S&W 686, Dan Wesson 715 and Ruger LCRx3. One size, at least in this case, does fit all. Good accuracy out to 25 yards and mild enough you can shoot them all day. Depending on...
