    I've heard people have gotten good results with the NOE 311-247-FN mold. I picked up the hollowpoint version, but haven't had a chance to cast with it. Either way, hopefully your new mold will yield far better results than the Lee mold!

    I've never tried cooking in an oven that was used for powder coating, but I probably wouldn't either. I would believe that baking the powder coat causes it to leave a thin residue on the sides of the oven. At work, we use ovens (granted, not kitchen...
