Got this one Saturday. Not a monster, but for me, archery has been tough for a few seasons so I am pleased as punch. Btw, those are slick trick magnums on home built 500 grain shafts.

The transparent colors dont work for me, but the opaque seem to work about the same. Have black, matte white and od green that all work

Cfe had become my favorite full power powder for 380 and 45 acp. Suprising velocity with a milder recoil pulse than comperable hs-6 or autocomp and almost no flash. My defense 380 will run 95 grains at 925 from my tcp with only a dull orange-red...

I believe Sage offers over sized 30 cal checks for 303. I would check with him.

Love my 45. Shoots great, reliable until i pushed the +p too far (200 grain @1350 fps) then it started jamming. After i killed a 200 plus pound hog at 70yards (pass through just behind the shoulder) with my general plinking load i realized i was...

You will need something to keep the pc from sticking to thray. Parchment paper or nonstick aluminum foil work best and are available at Wal-Mart, grocery store etc in the baking stuff. Nonstick foil only, and it has a plain and nonstick side. Plain...

Dont sweat the bases. If you get em clean and set em on parchment paper or nonstick foil you will get good coverage on the bases, but it isnt needed. Just look at fmj pistol bullets, exposed lead bases. Just tumble lube the screw ups in lee alox or...

Yep, that is a wax lube. Should be able to boil them in water to float off the lube. Skim or pour all the lube off before fisbhing out the bullets. Might roll em in a towel with acetone or lacquer thinner after boilingto make sure.

On the powder note, hs-6 and the new cfe pistol are awsome for 380, especially at 100+ grains

Saw a slow motion of shooting one of those. It was so well regulated that the bullets actually hit each other at about 12 yards and hit the target about 2" apart at 15. Cool feat of engineering.

I use mostly the lee 95 rf version of the ranchdog in my 380's but the wide meplant can be picky about oal, especially in my tcp. I do have and have loaded the lee 120 and it fed and shot flawlesly, but recoil was sharp with warm loads. Would work...

Got one for my girls. Shoots fairly accurate, feeds mini-mags and the like flawless, but cheap ammo is hit or miss. Simple trigger group, a little light stoning and squeezing the hairpin hammer spring a bit did wonders for trigger pull. Light, fun...

Once the sobs move in, you got em for life. They aren't actually as tough as you hear, old big boars can have a heavy shield over their shoulders from fighting, but sows and smaller pigs aren't bullet proof. Have killed several including a near 200...

Haven't done it myself, but was told to drive a lead slug to the port position and drill slowly and the slug would prevent internal burrs. Just a thought.

I use airsoft bbs with smokes powders. Don't know if it helps good powder stick, but certainly helps with damp or old powders. After swirling for 30 seconds or so, a dozen hard up/down shakes really evens out the coverage.
