I did a liner in 30-30 in a Savage 9478 20 ga. for a friend who wanted a break action rifle. Back about 10 years ago I picked up a pre chambered barrel for a 30-30 lever gun and turned it to slide in to the 20 ga. barrel for a close fit and...

Steven, I don't think there is any magic angle that fits everyone best. If your butt plate or pad is flat I might cut the stock to 83 degrees and tape on your butt plate and try it in your shooting positions. If you don't like it you can shim...

I checked the link you posted hoping they had extractors for a 410 but no luck. Most of the parts look a lot like the Yildiz folding single shot and parts for them are not for sale but warranted by Briley. Jedman

I have a MP 94 in 12 ga. / 30-06 and the extractor has a small spring loaded protrusion that snaps in to the rimless groove, so far it hasn't missed a lick but doesn't look very rugged. I wish it had a 7x57 R or 8 X 57 R instead but got it cheap...

I believe it would work but...... by the time you make a special shell and make some sort of jig to hold your gun you could remove the barrel and knock the bullet out with a dowel rod. Safely ! Jedman

bigdog, Maybe you could get a measurement of the present chamber and make a adapter to chamber a 22 mag and pull the bullet and try firing it to see how the pin strikes the rim. Jedman

steve urquell, The seller on eBay that sells the liners/ barrels like to have has great prices on his products. A couple of years ago I bought 3 - 4 of his 21" barrels in .451 bore and with one I made a 45 Colt single shot rifle for a friend...

I have built 9 or 10 50-70 barrels for H&R's and CVA Apex's. I have 2 that are nearly ready to sell except for the finish. The Apex barrel is SS and is done finished and the H&R I have not yet parkerized as that is the only good permanent finish I...

I am interested in this project also, I looked on stevespages and found the rim diameter for a 25 RF is suppose to be .333. That is about .040 or so larger than a 22 mag rf so I think you would need to modify the firing pin or possibly move it to...

It doesn't appear to have any extractors or ejectors. If all that was done was to add rifled liners to the unmodified shotgun barrels I doubt it shoots very close to the point of aim at even close ranges like 50 yards. Jedman

I was able to pick up some Federal American Eagle 22 LR ammo at a Academy store for $1.78 a box but there is only 40 per box. I never shot them before but at less than .05 a round my grandkids can shoot them up if I don't find any of my 22's that...

I have been buying a lot of guns in the past few months and they are the only ones I haven't shot yet. Some I don't have any ammo for YET, and some are for projects down the road. I can't think of any I have owned for a year that I haven't fired...

I just finished a similar project. I bought a antique rook rifle that was said to have a smooth bore. When I got it you could chamber a crimped 2 1/2" 410 shotshell and the extractor worked perfectly with the shotshell but a fired shell would not...

212853[/ATTACHWell I just got back from a trip where I was able to acquire 2 of the Yildiz shotguns. They sure have pretty wood for a low priced shotgun. It will be a while before I can start working on them but it looks like I will leave the 410...
