    My wife fries it like you would chicken until done and golden brown and then pressure cooks it for 15-20 minutes. Some of those old timers have been running through those trees for some time and can be quite tough if just fried.

    I have said this on this forum a number of times. My FTFs have always been the fault of the gun not the primer. I have had very few and I have been loading a lot each year for 50+ years. Your results may vary.

    When I get smear on the sprue plate I heat it evenly with a propane torch ad wipe the molten smear off with a COTTEN cloth, not synthetic. Some are concerned about warping the plate by heating it with a torch but I haven`t had that problem by...

    3.6 gr 700X with 120gr Lee TC bullet worked fine in my grandsons gun with a quick 5 round rapid fire test. Bullet cast from lino with 50/50 lube. I have just cast some from #2. I will post when we get more results.

    I have sized and lubed at the same time .321 bullets down to .315 with no issue. I use 50/50 lube. I don`t know if that makes a difference or not.

    I still have the one we used when shooting silhouettes. You put carbide and water in it to produce acetylene that produces very thick black smoke when the wick is lit, You use to blacken sights...dale.

    I did a test with 45ACP using Magnum primers with my standard load. I tested them in 2 different 45s. The load was midrange load of 700X and a 452460 bullet. Magnum primers showed an average increase of 20 FPS in velocity. There was no change...

    I am a certified ODFW Hunter Ed. instructor. I had a 7 year old pass the class. The material is geared toward kids 12 YO and older. The problem with young kids is that some aren`t big/strong enough to handle the firearms.

    I have been spraying them with Pam before each use. Soaking them over night in water with dawn makes cleanup pretty easy. I never thought of TSP. I will give it a try. How much are you using in each batch?
