For those who may not know, that powder is WC 846... The H335 "equivalent" is WC 844... That's gonna be my next buy from ST Auctions....

I too have read that there were poorly trained workers who mis-read the color of the steel during heat treat before instrumentation was put in place. And that the "old hands" were much better at turning out quality heat-treated receivers in the...

The brightness of the light on the press in the first pic helps bring out the details in the press, but the background is too bright. I don't like white backgrounds for dark subjects in the foreground. Press illumination of the first plus darker...

She and I mixed red and blue for an awesome grape purple... Almost to much of a coating in just 1 shake and bake. I will try the size first thing, but I am going to have to find a NIB .310 or .309 die as mine all have had lube in them. May just...

You know, I feel your pain with cast in a 300 BO. I have been chasing that goal for a few weeks and thought I was close. But this weekend, a minor change in the bullet profile jacked my pressure way up. I switched to RCBS 150gr FP and they cycled...

Great news! Still heading prayers you way. I could not imagine a problem like that with my kids. Our usual is the youngest daughter breaking bones or getting a concussion.

+1 /\ It may be interesting to add another caliber, but it may be more satisfying to figure out the BlackOut rather than letting it best you... I had to abandon my first 300 BO pistol barrel (7.5") and replaced it with a 9" ... Much easier to...

WSF has been my goto for 9mm and non-conventional 45 acp pin loads for years. It does wonderful things behind a 250 grain cast in the 45 acp revolver!

I think they should have put a rear mounting bolt on it. I heard an explanation why it didn't need one, but mine rocks a little when I put some torque on it. Haven't used it much... Bought a Bonanza AND an A4, so my single-stage requirements are...

Keep in mind the 300 bo is a little different animal. Many barrels up to 16 inches use a pistol length gas system for best function .

Might consider 1680, 3031, 4198 or RL 7. These each cross over bet 7.62x39 and 300 bo. I have been working with H110 in 300 bo with cast bullets, but have not investigated the use of it with the 39.

My only AR is in 300 blackout, so I am going to spend the winter working on cast in it. So far, H110 and H110 Data have been good to me with 160 grain cast bullets. I have however shot cast on and off for a few years in my Mini 14 and 4895 has...

I have redots on a few pistols and contender pistol barrels for hunting. I love the 1x magnification out to about 150 yards with the great field of view. All of my rifles get real scopes, some are POS some are leupold 6.5x24 or 8x32 and a couple...

This is not really something I want to think about.... I am guessing I could sell them all for 4 to 5 thousand. I have several long out of production Ideals, Lymans and a few good Saeco's. But, I am not sure as I have not been buying more that 1...

Ok... I have some experience here. I have been shooting my Inland for decades with cast bullets. From 110 to 130 grain bullets with no gas check and a commercial variant of H110 that back in the day was known as H110 Data and I suspect that it is...

Found from an estate sale... They're RCBS 30 Carbine dies... a 3-die set... clearly, the decapper is missing from the sizing die, but there's a belling die and it has a decapper on it.... That decapper doesn't fit the sizing die, only the...
