Jacketed, I use a Hornady collet puller and can reuse the bullets. Cast, I use the inertial puller. As was said, a piece of paper towel, etc, or a foam ear plug in the puller. Many times even the cast can be reused. Unless I am absolutely sure of...

I recently purchased an Axis that was on a closeout. I don't know what the difference is between the Axis and the Axis2, but am well satisfied with cost vs. quality and the accuracy. To me, there is nothing that really stands out. It is a well built...

I made mine from 2" channel iron about 4" long. Ingots weigh just under 2#. Welded 4 pieces side by side with 2" angle on each end at a 5 or 6 degree anle they make really nice ingots. I made 4 of them and as soon as I'm done pouring the forth one....

Citric acid. Amazon, 2 pounds for about $10. Wife also uses it for drying fruit. Two years and still haven't used it all.

Maybe a little checkering on the forearm, but not too much. Even a little might take away from the great work you've already done.

As I recall, 8 grains of Unique behind a 240 grain lead semi-wad cutter worked for me. I don't have my data here for that load, tho.

I don't know about Lemishine, but I use citric acid. As has been said before, it doesn't take much. I use 1 teaspoonful in about 2 1/2 gallons of water. I've tried a little more, but didn't work any better. I also use 1 teaspoon full of Armorall...

Those parts are relatively easy to find at swap meets, unless you are looking for a really nice stock. I even have an old mil stock that has been sportered, but is in kind of rough shape. I don't even know which model this one's from. If you were...

I use an old single stage to de-prime using a Lee de-capping die. I don't like the dirt, etc. in my good presses, not even the single stages. (I just bought a new Lee APP press for de-capping and bulge busting). Next, they go in the stainless pin...

Nice looking work. There have been a few factory rifles that had laminated stock. I like natural wood and bluing, but have a new Boyds' in laminated blue that I really like. I would love to have the talent you do for engraving and carving.

Each one of the manufactures have products that are unique to them and work very well. Dillon seems to have a great powder measure for their progressives. Bonanza had a great measure for small cartridges, but was difficult to get zeroed in. Once...

I have Leupold Gold Ring and Vortex Viper that I like. I have a Savage Axis with a new Weaver on it that I had some issues with, but it was not a scope problem. The rings were loose to the point of falling off. Once tightened, working well.

Sometimes I put a wooden bar stool next to me while using the press to put stuff on. Sometimes it's handier than reaching to the bench. Just drop to one side or the other.

That RCBS bench primer is a great deal. You won't realize its value until you use it. It is very fast, and has a good feel to how the primers seat. The only time I don't use mine is when loading on the Dillon.

Dillon makes these for their press, too. I mounted mine on a 3/8ths thick steel plate bolted to the bench. The plate is drilled and tapped for a couple of different presses which makes it simple to change without removing the plate.

680 is used for mounting a loose-fitting bearing. If you are going to want to get it apart at some point in the future, use something else. I used it on a loose axle bearing on a 4 wheeler years ago, and it never did fail as far as I know. That...

I don't know what it is, but I noticed there is a relief that would be on the inside of the hinge when it is folded. It doesn't appear to have any scarring or wear marks, so I guess it could have been used to tighten around a leather strap and pry...
