I really like the Lee collet neck sizing die and have a bunch of them. For every Lee neck die I also have a Redding body die and full length size EVERY time about .002 to .003 bump on the shoulder. I gave up on neck sizing only in the early 70's. If...

Lyman 429303 and its 357 counterpart are pointed. They made sizing stems to fit them to use in their 450 and seating stems for the Lyman seating die. I have the set ups for the 44 & 357. I don't shoot many but cast hard they give good penetration...

I miss Junior. Just before I left for Wyoming in 2014 he sent me a bag of screws with a nice little note written in his humor, I was only home a couple of weeks when I heard the sad news. I still have his hand written note in the gun safe. Yep, I...

I've been at it a long time and I find it one of my most fascinating and enjoyable hobbies. I feel fortunate, a lot of great gentlemen that where here before this current forum have passed on. Hope I can hang on as long as I can.

If your thinking about 1000 fps don't overlook unique. 9 grains will kill white tails one shot deader than a mackerel.

My wife bought me a old 4 cav 452460 with handles in the original box years before I owned a 1911. Its one of the sweetest molds I own, easy pouring and the 4 bullets fall out when you open the handles.

I've been saying for a long time that one of the greatest benefits of reloading is the subsonic loads we create. Can't go to town and buy those.

Some where I think in 2005 on this forum was a discussion about washing in Lemi Shine and hot water. I tried it and have never looked back. That's all I do anymore, no more polishing in media. I want clean cases, medium shine that will grip the...
