Agree, with a pistol with an not functioning safety, only safe way is on an empty chamber. Or you could figure out why it did not work and fix it. Grin Or not.

I felt the same way this morning when I woke. Was not interested in church. But I did listen to about an hour and a half of good country gospel. Mostly Oak Ridge Boys and Statler Brothers. Put me in a good frame of mind for the day. And yes I...

The only dog I ever saw who regularly caught fox squirrels all on their own was a cross. Part wolf, part coyote, part dog. She was scary smart. She would lay out on the front lawn and watch the silage pile. When the squirrel got far enough from...

I will only say I believe the Lord is talking to him. Sometimes he listens and sometimes I am not so sure he does. But I think he is working in the right direction. Just like all the rest of us. One day at a time. God Bless you President Trump....

Don't ever sell it. Stock up on pellets while you can. I've had my "ol blue" since the early 70's. We've killed a lot of blackbirds, some rabbits. I've used it for 4 house cats that were "ready to go". I was raised old school. I don't...

Been there done that. I have a baggie full of .223 blank ammo, yeah still live. Good for nothing else. Trimming to length removes the crimped portion at the end. I suspect it was slightly thinner brass. I did not do much in the way of...

I agree with Boaz. When in doubt, ask. There are a couple of things that I don't necessarily agree with him on. But once I asked and understood WHY I was able to accept and move past.

Increase of load weight means you need to lower charge to keep pressures lower. Decrease of load weight = less pressure. So If I lowered it at all it would not be much. I might add some buffer to help make up some of that weight. I also...

I have although my groups were a bit larger than I like. I suspect it would like boolits a couple thousandths larger than what I have been feeding it. I know it is a Lee 2 cavity at 175 gr TC. I was running mine over a light load of Red Dot...

All 3 of mine wear 60$ range truglo Red Dots. The .45acp has the 2x optical Truglo Red Dot. Looks like a small short scope with small bell's. Does a wonderful job of helping bring those targets in where I can see them.

I have 3, 9mm, .40sw and .45acp. No real desire for 10mm or .380. Like you said, you just can't run 10 rounds through one without getting that big smile on your face. Everyone I've seen shoot one turns around with that big Grin. It just is.

I agree with Tazman about heavy bullets for shooting those chickens. I've shot Red Dot in my 9mm's from 3 to 4.5 grains. The hotter loads were shot in a single shot handi rifle barrel and a Hipoint Carbine. The Handi rifle barrel puts them in...

Looked like short sight radius to me. Doubt it shoots significantly better than my Hipoint Carbine in .45acp. Plus you could just about get 2 Hipoints for the price of one of those. Interesting though.

Best tip I saw was someone who drilled a hole in powder/shot bin just smaller than the foam earplugs you can get for the range. Need to make a change? Grab a bowl, pull the plug, same on the other side. Made things a lot simplier. Me I went with...
