Looks good for flat bottomed mold and yes it seems a bit pricey! NOE makes a mold guide for their RG up holds, but, seems only for the RCBS and Lyman mag 25.

I started with 88 cent Wal-Mart muffin tins, had to peel them out like a tuna can. Had some graphite spray from Lowe's that said it was good to 850 degrees. Sprayed the next one and they dropped like rain! Did 500 of them before I switched to the...

Think that was on the pro melt that wasn't in stock yet, and the free shipping, rebate and 15% sale was over before they got them in stock. I prefer to ladle cast or pressure cast if needed, so the easy melt is the one I wanted. It keeps the lead...

Was 109 with 25 rebate. RCBS goes on sale about every 4 to 6 weeks and they have had a couple of rebates this year.

Just got the email that they are now available. Just got my easy melt too last week. Got it full of range scrap for its maiden voyage! Been ladle casting for about a year after swapping the pot to a solid bottom on my Lee dripper!

Its not just Hornady that lets things slip thru the cracks! Bought a Pro 2000 in 2014 and PM wouldnt throw a consistent charge. Emptied it and found out why. RCBS sent a new casting and plastic sleeve, works fine now!

I use a Wilton pan too, but, its a mini loaf pan, has 8 holes and casts 3.25 to 3.5 lb ingots. Much easier than doing the 1 lb ingots or regular muffin pans. Tried the Walmart muffin pans that look like aluminum, but they stuck like glue. ...
