    My Type 53 measures out at .315. It shoots well with a 316-299 cast out of hard lead , GC'ed and powder coated. The rifle has a Russian copy sniper scope on it and does very well at 100 yards with RL 7 powder. I think I am shooting around 20...

    Just try neck sizing your brass and only shoot it in that rifle. I have had to do that with lots of rifles , especially my 303 Lee Enfield.

    I rust my barrels at least 4 times just to get them blued evenly. But I have to do them at least 6 times to get a Good Finish.

    You do not need to use a Rust Cabinet with Slow Rust Bluing. I just hang my parts in a bathroom that has been steamed up from the shower. The steam does not have to be constant. Steam up the room , hang the parts and shut the door for a few hours...
